DEFINITELY WORTH THE STOP!!! Free camping area during the summer. If it's late fall, STOP because this is the Swan capital of the world, and they intentionally built the dock where the Swans swim.

Absolutely beautiful here!!!! The park is along the lake shore. So no matter where you are at the park you can see the lake. They have a walking path along the whole lake that you can walk along with your dogs. There's even exercise equipment facing like lake voew, like what??? Amazing!

They have many benches, a picnic area with tables, a covered gazebo, flush toilets/sinks. A very large dock to walk on, also boat launch docks and a kayaking launch area. They also added lights at all the parking areas and at the dock.

In the winter, they create a skating rink and a fire pit and even supply wood for the local community.

This is a very small town and community, and honestly, I am very impressed at how much they've poured into this park. It's always well maintained. They have so much to offer here.

Five stars for being free and clean and right on lake. That said, don't expect privacy. It is basically an open field with huge gravel pull through spots with picnic table. You could easily park 2 rigs on each. Kayak launch right there. Playground. No shade. Trash. Communal fire pit. Municipal sani dump nearby but no hookups. Donation box. 2 day limit. Got there early evening and one spot left. Nice that town provides this.

A well-maintained free or by donation RV park and day use area. Playground, picnic tables, outdoor fitness equipment, communal fire pit with wood, bathrooms, canoe rentals, pull-through and back in spots, trails accessible from campground.
Yes, there are trains that go by if that is an issue. The area is also patrolled by the e RCMP which makes it feel very safe. Max stay 2 nights. Lots of sun and open sky for those with solar or Starlink.

Great, free camping right on the lake! Train is rather loud if you are a light sleeper.

Wonderful place to walk, we go daily and walk our dogs. Enjoyed, watching the winter activities ice fishing, snow mobiling, hockey on the large rink cleared routinely. Beautiful waterfront, beautiful trails, very well take care of even with the current crisis, the little park road is plowed daily. The town takes excellent care of the maintenance of the area keeping it safe for everyone. The area itself is stunning, there is lots of parking and stations to get doggie bags along the way. Can't wait to see the swans coming back as Spring begins to warm and thaw the lake.

Came up again on my feed to post here still loving to take my dogs here!
Still a wonderful place even in Covid lockdown the rink has been plowed our wonderful community has pulled together during the pandemic to stay together while distancing. Everyone is doing their best to be safe and follow the covid guidelines while taking care of each other and watching over neighbors and friends elderly and newborns. A wonderful place to live now in our second year here. I can't begin to list all the wonderful ways its the best. The park is the most beautiful place ever, trails are maintained. People are out on snow mobiles atvs and skates! Walking dogs, and enjoying the winter while staying apart. My elderly chow who has a bit of adventure in her got out on the highway and was picked up and I found her through the community postings and was able to bring her home safely. We joke about how she was " headin' on the highway lookin' for adventure'. If not for this wonderful community I would never have found her. ( she was picked up 8 miles from home) and I picked her up at a home some 25 miles away. Thank you to everyone who kept her safe again. I can't imagine if I had lost her that day. Here are some more park pics taken in 2020 :)

A beautiful little campground right beside the lake. There’s a well groomed park with a shelter and bathrooms and a walking trail beside the lake. The only downside is the trains that run beside the park but that’s a minor thing. This is a gorgeous spot to stay and there is no charge courtesy of the local businesses. Fraser Lake is a destination stop for us on our way to and from the coast.

Wonderful stop over spot. Beautiful location in the water, clean bathrooms, canoe rentals and level sites. The town of Fraser Lake manages a lovely camp. Two night maximum and no hookups. Put some money in the donation box to keep this place nice.

Great place on the water. Right by the train tracks, but the price is right. Probably stay again.

From our home in Alberta, this rv park was convenient and relaxing to and from our Alaska journey. The Fraser lake is clean and warm, this is a great overnight stop to rejuvenate especially for dog owners. We will certainly keep this park in mind amongst our future travels.

stayed here for two days.. great camping area right on the lake. As others have stated it a gem for sure.

we stayed on a fri and sat night and the place was almost full.. there are 11 spots with 7 pull through and 4 newer back in..

the train does run the track you cross coming in at bottom of hill.. over the evening, we got in around 4pm and had two trains heading east from then till midnight,, then during night another one around 2pm and then around 5 pm.. some blow the horn several time a couple just barely blow horn but they blow the horn..

Not like a place we stayed with train every hr and long loud horns in a downtown area with lots of echos...

other than the train, which are not bad, it perfect... for two days we left 20 CN.. not required but do what you can.. :)

Nice RV park on Fraser Lake. Well off the highway, free (!) overnight camping (limit 2 nights), picnic tables, trash cans, restrooms, Mouse Mountain Trail. No potable water or other amenities. Thanks to the Village of Fraser Lake for being so welcoming to travelers.

The best campground I’ve been in this trip, the only bad point is the trains that pass a couple of times during the night blowing their horn. Very clean, beautiful location , lots of space and free(2 nights only).

Great spot for an overnight on the road (2 nights max). Free, no amenities except bathrooms. Gorgeous view, long level sites, easy to stay connected. Nice lake breeze. Walking around the park, beach access to swim, several pieces of outdoor exercise equipment. Kids playground. Super quiet, and then the one guy comes in and runs his generator 🙄.

Very clean, well maintained. Quiet, except for the occasional freight train. Pay by donation. Don't take it for granted, make a donation. It's worth it.

This is a beautiful park and more often than not is empty whenever we stop on our way to Prince George.
The water is easily accessible throughout the park, the public toilet is clean and usually unlocked, and the kids park is quite good and new.
