Kal Tire

We had a flat tire in a remote location over a long weekend. We came into the Port McNeill Kal Tire as soon as we could. We had 400 kms to drive that day to catch a ferry and I didn’t want to drive that distance on a spare tire so we hoped Kal Tire could help. We didn’t have an appointment and Kevin made us feel welcome and was able to squeeze us into their busy schedule without any fuss. Kal Tire repaired the flat and we were able to catch our ferry. I thought the service was exceptional and the price very reasonable. I have no hesitation recommending this business.

Best service customer I have ever experienced. Got a flat tire while driving along the north island highway. Had a long drive to Vancouver lower mainland. Nate got us in pretty quick and did not charge us as the puncture was very minor. We hit the road again in 30 mins. Can’t thank you enough❤

After a flat tire at Gooding Cove we needed a repair fix. The shop was great and Nate helped me out professionally and quick. At the end we got our tire fixed and swapped and he didn't even wanted to charge me for it. Thanks again for putting us back on the road.

The guys are Kal Tire were awesome. Got a flat after traveling to San Josef. They took me in right away and fixed my tire and didn’t charge me which was so nice. I tried a couple of other places first as was staying in Port Hardy and they couldn’t fit me in. Can’t thank you enough for your help.

I was in Alert Bay and got a flat tire, caught the first ferry to Port McNeill and they fit me in to their busy schedule to repair my tire and put it back on my car so that I could make the next ferry back for the celebration of life. I went to pay and was told there is no charge.

Ryan is the best. We had what we thought was a slow leak in a Motorhome tire. He wanted to schedule it so his big tire tech was available. Originally scheduled for 11 am. Ryan called at 8 and said they had some emergency tires repairs and coul we make 3 pm, which we did. Darren busted the tire down, did a complete inspection, found nothing wrong and remounted tire. What we ultimately found was our TPMS sensor was faulty. Lesson learned. Ryan and Darren were great and provided excellent service.

I have only lived in the North Island for a few years. I am glad to have found this shop. They haved provided great service repairing/replacing the odd tire for me. When I needed a new set of tires they had great prices for the tires I wanted. The service was terrific as usual and they got me on my way in time to catch my ferry. Much appreciated.

The crew at this shop are absolutely amazing! They helped me with a tire so I could get back down island and have my original tire fixed under warranty. Thank you so much!!

Excellent customer service here. Brought a tire in that had lost air, and the guys said it had come off of its beed. They got the tire in even when they were busy. Did the fix for free, How nice is that! Thanks guys!

Although I rarely make comments or give reviews I would like to say that I am very pleased with the Kal Tire store here in Port McNeill. Quick, kind & courteous service with reasonable pricing as well. About as good as it gets. I recommend them for your tire requirements.

New front end installed for my 2002 dodge. On time, on budget, good quality work. Friendly and helpful staff anytime I've needed work done--even near quitting time! I've had a good experience buying tires here as well. This is a solid place you can count on.

I'm so appreciative of the service I got from Kal Tire in Port McNeill. I've taken our Subaru Forester in twice, once for a brake job and then to fix a slow leak in a tire. Both times the work was excellent and when I asked to pay for the tire job was told there would be no charge. Incredible, really! I also have 2 friends who had work done on their cars at Kal Tire in Port McNeill. Both of them sang praises of Kat Tire for the jobs they had done . Literally the single best experience I've had at a tire shop ever! We picked up a screw in the tire while we were on holidays. We took it in to Kal Tire and 30 minutes later we were fixed up and back on the road.
