I was highly impressed with our experience here. Great food, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. My husband had the Cod Sandwich and I had wings. Food took a bit to come out but Everything was fresh so worth the wait!

You have to try it, nice vibe, good food and reasonable prices, kind staff with friendly manner, I want to say thank you for your great service.

Great place! Friendly, fast service, great battered fresh fish (we had halibut tacos and halibut fish & chips), all while enjoying a great view of the harbor. We'll be back! Good beer on tap too.

A very nice place for lunch which included an excellent view of the harbour. Staff very inviting, pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return to devour some more tasty food.

Travelled fo Port McNeil from Sooke, had some food from Gus Pub for dinner. Some of the most amazing food we’ve ever had, friendly staff, and fast service. Will be back!

Tried this pub while staying in town for 4 nights while on a motorcycle trip. The food was so good & staff so pleasant that we came back here 2 more times with the exact same experience. Great food & specials.

Hey! I really liked this place good food and service sat at the window and had a great view of the ocean. I had the chicken club sandwich and was pleasantly surprised the chicken was grilled not just sandwich slices or reheated stuff it was really good. Great fries as well highly recommend. It’s a pub so leave the kids at home!

The food and craft beer are first rate. The place was slammed when we were here so service took a while. We ate here twice during our 4 days in Port McNeill and we will be back.

Nice modern looking pub. Good range of beer selection. House special burger was awesome. Service was great. No complaints!

We had a great dinner at Gus’s. Started with Korean chicken wings followed by the Mile High burger & Halibut tacos. All were excellent and good portions. The waitress was prompt and very attentive & the virgin Caesar was excellent! Definitely will be back.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, very nice staff, delicous food and affordable prices. (I had fresh halibut and chips for 20$) I normaly dont eat fish but this one was phenomenal.

Halibut fish and chips was REALLY good, I substituted the Cesar salad for the chips, also very good. Friends agreed food was excellent, they had seafood stuffed mushrooms and gluten free bang bang shrimp. Service excellent. Sat on the patio on a beautiful day, highly recommend.

I had a fantastic cobb salad here while waiting for the ferry. Opal, our waitress, was fantastic. She was friendly, professional and very capable. The food and beverages were delivered very quickly, the salad was large and the ingredients fresh. And a bonus was the very clean washrooms. Highly recommend this place.

Always great. My girl Opal rocks with her speedy and efficient service. The food is always fresh and fantastic. I had the crab and artichoke dip last night, and holy moly it's so good. It's more fresh than heavy, with a nice balance. Great beer, great food, awesome service always!

Nice pub, good choice of beers and the food is delicious! I've taken the poutine and the quesadillas and were fantastic!
