I have had dealings with Wagg Funeral Home for several years. The owners, Miles and Susan, are top notch, so, naturally, this trickles down to their staff.

Whenever I attend the funeral home, I am always greeted with a friendly smile, good conversation, and a stellar show of professionalism.

Miles takes pride in serving his community, he is a dedicated and caring Funeral Director, and his knowledge of the funeral industry is reflected in the way he manages his funeral homes - compassion, reliability, great communication and well organized.

Miles and Susan, and the staff at the Wagg Funeral Home, deserve credit for their ability to meet the needs of those in their community with great care and professionalism during a time of loss when emotions run high, and families are looking for guidance.

❤❤The respect/gratitude I have for Myles and his team for how amazingly they treated my family during the loss of my nephew Logan, They went well out of the way to make sure our baby boy was laid to rest quickly and peacefully.
Not sure how I can ever thank them for what they did to help us.

Great funeral home have been there for lots of family funerals ,they have always been very helpful. Even with the Covid rules felt very comfortable there.

A+, good communication, professional, cares about the small things great attention to detail. Highly recommended

EDIT TO ADD: After posting our review, the Funeral Home removed our mothers obituary from their site. Just shows that rather than take the criticism and make changes, they chose to hurt the family even more. Very unprofessional

What a heartbreaking experience. From day 1 we felt that the staff was cold, but assumed that with death being a hard subject, that this was normal.
The staff were terrible at communicating, gave us grief in accommodating and made us feel as if we were asking the world of them.
The building is cold and very dated.

There was no guidance as to best places to stand for the visitation or even a discussion about what door people would enter through.

There have been no upgrades to any sound or electronics, and families are left to scramble to make things work. The microphone was turned down too far, and people speaking could not be heard. There was no help to try to resolve this during the service. We felt that because we did not purchase all of their upgraded services, we were left to just sort it out.

At the end of the funeral service, there was no one available to close the casket, we had to sit and look around the room uncomfortably waiting for staff to show up.

During the family time after the service, we felt very rushed to move along.
The obituary had multiple spelling mistakes and we struggled to get invoices.

My father was terminal at the time of my mother service and he asked us to be sure to not use Waggs for his…which we respected.

Building is showing its age and lack of upkeep. Decor is very dated. Visible water damage on ceiling, cracked plaster throughout. Black dust around wall vents. The cloth that covers the bier is old and worn looking. Staff were less than welcoming and seemed inconvenienced by our presence. My review had nothing to do with current mandates.
