Books Galore

Welcome me as soon as I arrived in there.
Made sure my questions were fully answered. If there was a book I wanted said he'd get it in if it wasn't available. They did have the one I wanted. Nice you can return good used books.

Very good assortment of new and used books

From Ron Brownsberger - - Excellent service. Staff has the books nicely arranged. I name an author and within a few seconds we're standing in front of the choices. Easily made five purchases, and out in ten minutes 5/5 for sure.

Books Galore has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and very well priced merchandise. It's a small establishment that has plenty of fiction and a very good section for children. I found two great books on music (one a biography of the late great Jimmy Hendrix) that I snapped up. My wife and two children also found something to please them. In the 10 minutes I was in the store there was pleasantly relaxing music playing and the lady at the counter even asked me what my music preference is and offered to change it to suit! The experience could not have been better. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful store and I would be lost without it. Bill Minors, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about books and is always able to make excellent recommendations if I am uncertain. He has introduced me to many new authors although I am already widely read and we have had many interesting and animated conversations. How fortunate Port Perry is to have such a bookstore. The gentleman was so nice to my 8yr old son who had wriitten his own book and asked him to sell it. He took it and made my sons day :)

Lovely shop. Staff is always helpful. They have new and used books.

Bill is great. He is also a great community member. What he doesn't have he will quickly get for you. We really need to support our local businesses or we will lose them.
