FYidoctors - Fairview

When FYI doctors instituted visit by appointment I contacted FYI Peace River and was told that I couldn't get an appointment to change the nose pieces on my glasses for at least a week. I contacted FYI doctors in Fairview,, and talked with Carmen at FYI Fairview. She told me to come in right away. When I did, she changed the nose pieces on my glasses with such openness and friendliness, I was very impressed! So much so that several months later, I brought my spouse Mike, who had never been to an FYI store, and booked eye exams for both myself and for Mike. Mike was very impressed and pleased with how Carmen treated both of us, as she made our visit to FYI Fairview a very pleasant one, with much laughter and ease. We purchased glasses for Mike right there, that day. When we picked up Mike's glasses it was not my intention to purchase mine, but because of Carmen was very open about telling us of the warranty, and all the services that they provide, I changed my mind and purchased my glasses there as well. Carmen treated us with such friendliness, I told my friend Andrea about her who then came in to talk with Carmen about her glasses. I would refer everyone to FYI in Fairview!

Excellent Service as usual. Dr. Bayer is efficient with analyzing my eyes and informing me with each procedure performed...which I like. Front end staff are polite, caring and knowledgeable in eye wear ensuring you get what you need and can afford. Highly recommend.

Really great service and staff. Felt very safe with the COVID protocols in place. They were kind enough to ship my new glasses out of province for me since I was going away for a few months. :)

I’ve been attending this clinic for 10+ years and every visit has been excellent! Each staff member is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. There’s no reason to go elsewhere!

I have had the pleasure of great service through the doctors and some of the receptionists. Very thoughtful and respectful interaction. However, there is one lady who is so unpleasant and gruff. I excused the behavior the first time but subsequent visits yield the same personality. I have two children and they are not happy to go to their appointments because of this receptionist. On the other hand the optometrist provided such thorough examination made up for this awkward interaction.

Been waiting since May for my glasses. First pair showed up 5 weeks after ordering them looking like sunglasses with super dark tint .. now it’s been another 4 weeks waiting for the replacement lenses to arrive .. I’ve had headaches for two months now waiting for these glasses, my work has been negatively impacted becuase I can’t read what’s in front of my face ! … I’ve never waited more than two weeks in the 35 years I’ve worn glasses !
