Long Beach Lodge Resort

I want to give a shout out to the fantastic staff here at Long Beach Lodge! Spent 3 glorious, sun-filled days hiking, hot-tubbing and fine dining. When I couldn't get a taxi back downtown for my flight, they transported me no problem and refused to take a tip. Beautiful experience, and
reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back.

The Great Room restaurant is absolutely amazing. Came over from Cox Bay Beach resort next door for dinner and drinks. Had the best meal of all in Tofino ! The service was fantastic, restaurant was clean , and wonderful atmosphere! Would recommend it for anyone

My wife and I stayed in Tofino for 1 week and had dinner at the great room 3 times and breakfast once. The food was incredible and the staff was so accommodating to my wife’s allergies. I highly recommend and would 100% go back.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay beyond memorable.
We very much enjoyed our Rainforest Cottage, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, dining area, comfy sofas in front of the fire, and hot tub on the patio .... star gazing at its best!
The location was perfect, two minutes from the beach.
The weatherman gave us glorious weather, and epic sunsets every night.
Our dinner in the Great Room was sublime, every morsel delicious.
What can I say about the staff ... We were greeted by Sylvia at the gate whose massive smile and bubbly personality was so welcoming.
Kiju took such care of us in the restaurant.
Benjamin at the front desk was as helpful as any hotel staff I have encountered in my 40+ years of travel!

Oh-so helpful, friendly ... you all made our vacation/60th birthday/retirement celebrations the best possible experiences ever.

I have been dying to stay here for as long as I can remember and Long Beach Lodge did not disappoint! We were lucky enough to book one of the cottages as there was a promotion running this month, stay 3 nights, pay for 2 and I was beyond blown away! I have visited the resort many times in the past to surf and enjoy a coffee in their great room but to stay here is a completely different experience. The cottages are incredible/stunning, fully stocked with everything you need and a sweet little welcome gift, plus you have your own private hot tub, perfect for relaxing in after a day of adventures or surfing. We ate dinner in the great room one evening and the food was phenomenal, the squid dish and steak were to die for and our waiter Keyju was FANTASTIC! I could really go on and on with all the wonderful things you will experience during your stay here, but if you have the opportunity to be a guest, don't hesitate for a second to book it, you will not regret. I will definitely be back soon, as it was so hard to leave Tofino this time : ( Thank you Long beach lodge and staff for an amazing family day long weekend!!!

This place is terrible. It’s to close to the beach, like who actually wants to spend 1 minute walking to get to the beach. The cabin is to beautiful and to clean. The private hot tub is too private. The locally roasted coffee from Ucluelet was too delicious for first thing in the morning. Coffee will forever be ruined for me. The couch is so uncomfortable I wanted to nap on it. The heated floors in the bathroom were terrible. I enjoy my ice cold toes after a shower. Don’t even get me started on your many dinning options, happy hour at 3pm. No thank you. Eggs benny? Hard pass. Who wants to play pool in the surf room, not me.

Please don’t stay here. If you stay here I can’t. Thank you.

Restaurant is very good and service is top notch.

You can’t beat the view in the Great Room. A must try if you are in Tofino.

Fireplace makes this restaurant extra cozy.

Please don’t ever remove the chess table.

The lodge is beautiful and the beach is breathtaking. Can’t wait to visit on our anniversaries. ☺

Enjoyed a lovely meal today in the beautiful Great Room. Best fries ever! The mussels were a bit too spicy for me but I still enjoyed them.This is my favourite place to relax with some great food while taking in the view of Cox Bay with surfers strutting their stuff. The power went off while we were there and I was very happy that they have generators to keep the operation going. I wish they would be open for lunch again like they used to be.

I am a frequent visitor to Tofino, and a frequent visitor to Long Beach Lodge for meals. I stopped in for breakfast on the 9th of November, after previously having supper there on the 7th of November. In both cases, the service was excellent, and that was only overshadowed by how absolutely delicious the food was, and they had a selection of breakfast items that were palatable for my kids who can at times be quite picky eaters. The Dining room has an excellent atmosphere, both in the morning, and the evening, and the views are nothing short of stunning. I made the mistake of leaving a few personal items behind, and only realized it when I had driven a few hours away. I contacted the hotel, they had found my items, and express mailed them to me, no questions asked. I cannot speak high enough about the service. Thank you for a lovely couple of meals, and thank you very, very much for returning my items.

First class meal last night. Rylan and the entire team were very professional, engaging, warm, friendly, and attentive. We had the best experience celebrating a special occasion. The kitchen also deserves top credit, our meals were delightful.

At dinner at the Great Room. Food and service were amazing. It was our anniversary and they treated us so well. Also great options if gluten free as well as for kids.

Dreamy Location & pure coziness. I honestly don’t have anything to criticize. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the beautiful beach view and breathtaking sunsets at Cox Bay. I especially loved the restaurant which has the best view on the ocean and serves delicious food! The only thing I noticed that could be improved is that the gym could be a bit cleaner and that it would be great if towels or cups would be provided.

Had my favorite meal on all of Vancouver Island here! The views were amazing and highly recommend going to the Great room restaurant for sunset (make sure to get a reservation). The food was delicious and my favorite was the dessert! Highly recommend eating here during your time in Tofino!

LBLR is a great place to stay. Right on the beach, there is an excellent restaurant, a hangout spot for drinks, snacks, and a game of pool, and the rooms are immaculate! I have been coming here consistently for the last three years in the Fall and have never always looked forward to my yearly trip.

Once again Long Beach Lodge was amazing!

Front staff very friendly and professional, not sure why the gentleman was standing behind the ladies working. Just seemed a little odd.
The food from room service was wonderful, Thank you to the kitchen staff.
Even when the power went out, our stay was perfect. Watching the snow and sitting the fire place was so relaxing.

One suggestion that I did mention at checkout this morning was to use a small snow removal device. ( bobcat )
Watching 5 staff members shovel snow the day before and waking up to more, was too much.
There were 2 vehicles stuck at the front entrance when we left at 7:30am and it was not a good scene as we tried to leave the property.

Wonderful resort. I started going to this Long Beach Lodge about 6 years ago. I take my family there every spring. I’ve tried a couple other resorts but you can’t beat this place. Cox bay is absolutely gorgeous and provides a spectacular view when eating in the restaurant. I stay in the cabins and it’s alwasy clean, presentable and well looked after. I would suggest if you’re looking for great cook wear, to bring your own as the pots and pans could use replacing. That being said it is a cabin… service is great so if you do need help or require assistance, they are very accommodating.
The great room is a must eat. Chill vibes so no need to dress up. Food is fantastic, never had a bad meal and good prices for the level of service.
Must stay, worth the money!

Can't say enough good things about Long Beach Lodge.
We stayed in their Penthouse Suite. The room was gigantic with an absolutely gorgeous view of Cox Bay. Beautiful balcony, perfect for sitting out and enjoying some drinks after the kids go to bed.
Dinner at the Lodge was to die for. They are extremely celiac friendly. They have a dedicated GF fryer and SO MANY gluten free options, staff were extremely knowledgable and always provided me with options!
Surf lessons were also incredible. Our instructor was so friendly and knowledgable. Both of us got up on our board and had a great time.
The beach is also perfect, especially with little kids. We spent most of our time out front of the lodge with the kids scouring the beach for treasures.
Can't recommend Long Beach Lodge enough. Great Family Vacation spot!!

Excellent service, location. We got to Tofino tired, ragged from a long trip and the unexpectedly blocked road, so we were starving and very disappointed to hear the hotel restaurant was booked up. Hugo worked some magic and found us a seat, we also got the same gentleman to serve as our waiter (I now forget his name), who was kind and solicitous.
That was a theme for our 3 night stay. From the manager down, service was amazing, and we felt like guests at a lodge, not an impersonal hotel chain.

Views of course are splendid, town is a short drive away, no complaints. We’ll back next time we’re in Tofino.

We really enjoyed your sea side bar overlooking the ocean, especially because of the propane fire pits. It was one of our trip highlights! The establishment also looked beautiful and even though we didn’t stay here, we really enjoyed dinner there one evening. Thanks for the great service!
