Had the 10z ribeye, comes with soup of the day or salad and opted for the clam chowder… I must say, Yummmy… best clam chowder west of the east coast… The ribeye was cooked to perfection (I like it rare), the veggies was savoury, the mash well was mashed lol… but the best of all was the impeccable service I receive from my server Morgan… she was excellent and made me feel like I was home… Thank you so much for the great experience. Would recommend to anyone that visit Chetwynd BC

We’re on a road trip and randomly chose this restaurant due to the potential history behind this restaurant! 🤩 It didn’t disappoint… it was history at it’s best, very clean, great customer service and yummy 😋 food! The fish tacos were the best I’ve had on our BC road trip! And our daughter received a free piece of cheesecake for her Birthday 🎉! Thank you 😊

It was meant to be a quick stop for me as I was just passing through. It was indeed very quick and super delicious 😋 I love that the menu is simple but still has a great variety. My waitress was very awesome, couldn'task for better. In my opinion, if you don't stop in, you are missing out.

This place has been amazing staff and all the owner is absolutely great and it's a real shame that during this time people are not being more understanding of the wait times we are evacuees from tumbler ridge as are many others an hour or so to wait for this kind of food is worth it I've had nothing but great service here and I've enjoyed talking to the owner each time I come in even provided my daughter with Popsicles as we wait! If you are looking for a great meal definitely stop by here you will not be disappointed.

We were evacuated due to the wildfires and I cannot give more praise to the wonderful owner and staff here. They have been so amazing; staying open late, helping us with any questions we have and just providing us with some much needed rest.
This place is a real gem in this community and we can't thank you all enough for all the help and amazing food!

My meal was exceptional, well priced, and served quickly.

Waitress did not listen to a word i said. She did pay attention to the man of the group somewhat and applied his request to my meal, but not his. Sexist? Or just not caring about her customers? Never came back to offer refills for coffee or ask how it was.

Good food, friendly staff, quick service

This is one of my favorite breakfast stops in the entire area. If I am leaving from Dawson or Fort St. John I will save it and eat at the River House in Chetwynd. Love the food, love the atmosphere.

Home style cooking, friendly hardworking waiters and a very unique feel, design / decoration to the entire inside incorporating natural wood. Patio is very private from the public and would be perfect during nicer weather. Newer menu has some great food at fair prices.
No beer on tap as of the time of this review but a good wide variety of beverages. Caesar’s are typically quite tasty and consistent. 😀
Dine in seems to be more popular than take out, overall service was really good.
Running a restaurant is a hard business to sustain they say, but after enjoying more than 6 visits here over the years it’s hard to recommend any real improvements! Five stars!

This was a lovely spot on the way home for food! Even though it was extremely busy on August long weekend we were greeted prompty and got a table right away and the staff was excellent as well as the food!

My breakfast was amazing, my eggs benedict was cooked perfectly and the waitress was supper friendly and kepted my coffee hot and filled up.

This place was awesome for a local restaurant in Chetwynd! The service was prompt, the place was clean, the food came quick, and the Sunday caesars were DELISH. They didn't have the beer we wanted on tap but that didn't matter the caesars were so good! The crispy buffalo chicken sandwich was perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if going thru!
