Mackenzie Beach Resort

What an amazing experience at the mobile home set up they have at Mackenzie Besch Resort. It’s super welcoming with a super cozy coffee shop and chill out area, where you can work, play or plan your next big adventure! Rosh helped us with the e bikes and you even get a discount by staying with them !!! The decor was perfect and the weather give it the perfect little rainy touch to our stay! The bed was super cozy and the stay delightful, we will plan to come again and stay for longer this time, bring our friends and surf !

Beautiful beach access, staff were friendly & accommodating. We stayed during the cold snap & our rooms pipes did freeze, staff were quick to resolve the issue thankfully. Really nice reception layout (sitting area, cafe, wifi). Our room was well laid out though it did struggle to keep warm (again, unusually cold while we were there). Location was nice & close to amenities!

Fantastic Staff! They made sure we had the best weekend. They are really amazing. Our Airstream was awesome and the micro cabins are brand new with a bbq and fire ring on your own private patio. A short walk to in our opinion, the best beach in or around toffino. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!

My partner and I stayed in airstream #1009 at Mackenzie Beach. We had the circumstance of camping for 3 days in the rain elsewhere and wanted a dry place to finish our trip. We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to book on such short notice and the staff were all great! It was nice to have a little bit of luxury and soak in a hot bath! The airstream was equipped with a kitchen and all the amenities we needed, blue tooth speakers, heated floors, a beautifully decorated place that felt just like home.

We decided to check out Lil Ronnie’s BBQ and it was everything we hoped for and more. We got a couple Caesar’s to start then followed with the brisket, mac and cheese, ribs and potato salad. Everything melted in our mouth. We were able to catch some live music too!

We finished our vacation with a walk along Mackenzie Beach. It’s hard to find a beach I don’t like but this one was so scenic in the middle of October. We will be back!! I would highly recommend including Mackenzie Beach in your travels!

Well I’m going to start off with one word AWESOME! We stayed in one of the Air Streams for a night and what a nice surprise it was a great experience .First off location 5 minutes from Tofino,5 min walk to beach and a great BBQ restaurant on site all you need for a great stay
The Air Stream was beautiful inside really laid out nice with everything you need great bed awesome shower and all the equipment you need for a stay ,plus the best sound system I have had in a accommodation,wish we had of found this before would have stayed here are whole trip ,we stayed in one of the Pods in Tofino which was nice but we both thought this was better ,we might go back to Tofino again just to stay her again and oh yea fantastic staff .i have posted a video on YouTube on the air stream

In 2009 My husband proposed on the beach here when it was just a campground with 4 or 5 cabins. Then, we were dew covered in the morning as to be expected by the ocean, and rented a cabin for the last night. It was so nice, cottage-y, cozy cabin vibe... homey feeling and welcoming. We came back and let me tell you we were not disappointed. We were booked in to cabin 9, one of the original cabins. The woman who took our call was super kind and welcoming (thank you for that). The cabin itself had a bit of an update. Whoever is responsible for these updates you have great taste. White walls with grey trim give a spa vibe with soft, clean and luxury linens. The bathroom soaps and conditioners are AMAZING, very spa like. I regret not booking the first part of our trip here versus the hotel down the road. Coffee greeted us in the kitchen, warm gas fireplace. Beautiful seating area out front for a feel of forest bathing with live music at night adding to the ambience but not running too late that it bothers you. Direct Ocean access, close to town and food.... all the facilities are on point. Well done MacKenzie, it was so nice to be back.

I LOVE this place!!! We just spent 9 days. The off season is amazing and the beaches were empty of people. What a a peaceful recharge before heading back to the city.

We had our end of season staff party at the resort, their main office area turns into a venue! It was such a lovely space, great atmosphere and amazing staff. We were able to cater food from Lil Ronnie’s which is near by on the same property. Food was amazing! We paid for some local musicians to come play as well and even some of our team got up on stage to sing and play. It was a beautiful evening and our team made some magical memories for sure!

The front desk staff are by far the friendliest I have met on the island. They cater to every query with speed and precision!

Amazing fresh and updated micro suites. Just a short minute walk to a beautiful child friendly calm beach. Great on site outdoor grill restaurant with delicious food and live entertainment.

The outdoor showers and fireplace are are beautifully outfitted with wood panels. Cozy outdoor lights. Modern functional lights indoors. Plenty of storage in-suite. I loved the stainless steel coffee press in the kitchen. It keeps the coffee hot!

Gorgeous sunset views from the beach that's just a short minute away from the suites and airstream rooms. At low tide a super cool secret rock cave on the right side of the beach.

Just a beautiful place to stay! Highly recommend. The coffee shop is also super handy to have within 30 seconds from the suite front door. The games available there kept my kids busy on a rainy morning.

Thank you to the new owner who made this place my absolute favourite place to stay in Tofino!

Have to give this 5 stars. The staff were amazing to us, and we were highly impressed with the rooms, hot tub, and location. Very nice and quiet at night, and nicely warming in the morning as you're a 2 second walk to the beach where fellow visitors will greet you with a pleasant smile. Definitely will be returning!

My partner and I stayed at a drive in campsite in our van, and loved the location. Super close to downtown, a 2 minute walk to all amenities, and 3 minute walk to the beach! The bathroom was heated, were super clean, and there were lots of amenities available to us. Filtered water, a ton of showers, a sink to wash things in, and outdoor showers for after surfing. Campground lot size could be larger, we only just fit in with extra room in the van, but had a table and fire pit which was ideal. There were lots of airstreams and container rooms which looked beautiful and we might try when we visit Tofino again. Recommend in the off season--it's a bit cheaper!

This year, we camped. Over the years, we’ve done a cabin, an Airstream and a suite. All were uniquely awesome. You can treat yourself to a little luxury, or make it more rustic. The McKenzie beach staff, café, live music and delicious food, plus beach, ocean, walks, sunsets and sunrises — all incredible.
I have to mention too, the facilities are very nice and clean.

I camped there 2 nights and it was awesome. The tent sites are right next to the beach, it feels like you are sleeping on it. The staff is very helpful and the washroom is clean. You can enjoy the sunset on the beach and rent a paddle board to explore the area.

I spent the weekend at Mackenzie Beach Resort with a few friends and it was beyond one of the best experiences. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The cabins were decorated beautifully and had a warm beach cozy vibe to them. The cabin hot tubs were exquisite! They were beautiful deep barrels with the perfect water temperature. I could have spent hours in them! The location of the resort is amazing as the beach is steps away. You can also rent e-bikes right from the resort! It was my first time on an e-bike and the experience did not disappoint. Mackenzie Beach is the perfect getaway for couples, families or friends as it’s so versatile. I will 100% be booking another stay at Mackenzie Beach Resort.

Had the most spectacular stay! The staff at the resort were super friendly, our cabin clean, and had a direct view of the beach! We rented the e-bikes for the day and had a blast (the bikes go FAST)!!! Would definitely come back and do it all over again :)

This place was BEAUTIFUL! My friends and I stayed here this past weekend for a birthday celebration and it was a dream. The cabins were spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the beach out of each one. The service was amazing, warm and friendly vibes all around! 10/10 would definitely recommend! We will be back for sure ❤ THANK YOU!!!!!

Amenities- loved the cedar hot tub, outdoor shower and cozy cabin with a fireplace
Service- Amazing! They welcomed us with mimosas, provided suggestions for local food and places to visit AND helped us set up a pit to have a sunset beach bonfire!
Location- Steps away from the beach, beautiful views and some sweet electric bikes to rent that make going to town quick and fun!

I can't say enough great things about this slice of heaven! Everyone is so incredible friendly and accommodating to guest needs, the rooms are so clean and cozy!

The beach is our favourite place out of the entire resort tho, in the mornings the water retreats almost to the rocks and in the evenings you can see an ocean of stars, no camera equipment needed! We will DEFINITELY be back, wish we could of stayed a year. 🤭
