Watipi Campground

We enjoyed the lovely surroundings. We are impressed with the friendly and cooperative staff. 😃. Lots of walking trails to enjoy. The pelicans came for visits. We enjoyed the weekday’s atmosphere.
Clean bathrooms and showers. Great place for group camping. Very large camping spots for group. Cute hall for weddings, anniversary or family reunions.

We loved it!! Quiet little area, clean facilities, super friendly folks that run it..very accommodating..thank you for delivering wood to our site! We were in a cozy corner of the field with wild raspberries, yum! Yes you can hear traffic on the highway - during the day..did not bother us at night, though. Pet friendly, too! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Was happy to find this peaceful spot to explore to close to town. Hosts were really helpful and kind. Would like to try kayaking here one day. This mature poplar wetland area has a wide range of biodiversity. Paths and campsites are very well taken care of, but there are lots of dead spots for cell service if that matters to you. Looks like a nice place for large group rentals.

Wonderful place, we brought 2 kids and they loved it ! lots of trails behind campground large private lots, wonderful staff gave us privacy but always a text or call away couldnt ask for a better campground as far as I'm concerned bring your tent pay the reasonable fair and enjoy your time !

Spent a couple days in the big open area as we requested power. We had the whole area to ourselves which was amazing. Hosts brought us wood(which I had requested) within an hour of us arriving. Washrooms were clean and well equipped. We didn't need to use the showers as we have a full bathroom. Will definitely be back!

Was clean and not busy. Showers don't require coins to operate.
Only thing I'll mention that wasn't the best, is that in the main grassy area you can hear the hwy, but if your in an RV or just staying the night, it won't bug you.

Make sure you are ok with late night noise or else its gonna be too much for you.

I believe some group partied till 4 am on June 18-19th, its not that loud because they seemed far away but I feel sorry for the other campers 20 feet away.

Great locations, and the owners are absolutely wonderful! We look forward to going a few times a year.

Highly recommend. Gone here twice. All the camp sites are really nice. Lots of room to set up trailers/tents. Animal friendly and the bathrooms are kept clean. Not to mention at a great cost.

We had a great time camping out there for a week. The grounds are very well maintained and had permanent firepiys at each camp ground. There was a functional out house and extremely nice paths to walk in around the camp sites.
