This campground and golf course is close to town but has the feel of being out in the country. Handy store for those things you forgot and if the weather gets bad, just sign out one of their many dvds to watch.
The kids will have a blast at the pirate ship park and the parents will enjoy eighteen rounds of golf.
Handy showers and laundry is also available as well as a large community fire pit with gazebo.

Clean and spread out. It is mostly open with minimal privacy, but there are sites that are more secluded. Operators were plesent, informative and more than helpful. My only complaint is there's not much to do around this location, but golf next door? But that's not their problem.

We pulled into this beautiful campground during the holiday weekend, hoping to find a spot for the night. We were traveling , going back home to NY after visiting Alaska. We didn't have cell service to check ahead of time.
Unfortunately, they were booked solid but the lovely lady at the desk actually took the time to write us a list of campgrounds and phone numbers to try and help us get somewhere to stay for the night. The gentleman that works there was on his phone also trying to help. These wonderful people went above and beyond and we will remember their kindness always. We were able to get a nice site for the night at one of the campgrounds they told us about. The gentleman even gave us great directions on how to get there!

The hosts are lovely. The playground was a big hit with the kids. Clean and well kept, nice bathrooms. $1 for 5 minute shower, laundry on-site. We never golfed but the green looked nice. Would definitely go back.

Super nice managers! Beautiful park like setting off a short gravel road. Worth the drive. Our site was surrounded by nicely mowed grass. Not very private between rigs, most are staggered so you aren’t looking into neighboring windows. Bathrooms are immaculate and each room is private. You need Loonies to pay for hot water to shower.

When we were headed to the RV campground, we watched an amazing “Roll” cloud on the horizon. (Posted a photo!) At the campground check in site the cloud rolled right over the top of us. Very cool. People were outside watching it and taking pictures. Everyone was friendly and nice. We slept well. Would spend extra days here if we could! Highly recommend.

I was initially skeptical about coming here, but that disappeared when I Met Robbin and her husband Dan. The sites are clean and the hosts are so obliging and such wonderful people we keep coming back. We ve been here 2 weekends in the last 3 and have booked for the next weekend. The amount of wood you get when you purchase here is more than what you buy elsewhere. I have no problems buying the wood here. Thanks Robbin and Dan for your excellent care. We are planning a family weekend here.

My wife and I camped at RV there yet for a week the beginning of July, and were later joined by our daughters. We found the campground staff to be some of the nicest people we have met, friendly ,helpful and very accommodating. I would camp there again next time were in the area. Power water and sewer all worked very well and have been upgraded. The golf course next to the campsite was very challenging, there staff were friendly and courteous. I wish the weather would have been a little dryer as I would have enjoyed doing a couple more rounds . But it was nice to come back to the campground and enjoy a cool beverage and warm fire after a day of sight seeing in the Red Deer area. I would like to thank Darcy, Doreen, Stewart and his wife unfortunately I never got her name . PS . Darcy, Doreen the little one is doing great.

Best shower in our 6000 mile trip! Clean, great water pressure, high shower head for tall folks. Yes the sites are a tad close but it is really nicely layed out and the ship playground is cleverly built. No bugs in August - wow! Look for the picturesque little bridge by golf hole 18.
Happy Camper

Clean, full hook ups and very friendly and helpful people . Nice level spots to level out the rev. The camp ground is next to a golf course. It’s also off the highway about a mile and a half mile it turns onto a dirt road. Easy access.

Absolutely fantastic customer service- Stewart was awesome! They escort you to your site and guide you in. There is a beautiful gazebo by the office with a huge fire pit (Wok!) that everyone should go and enjoy. Definitely staying here again! Thanks for the hospitality!

Decent campground with power, water and sewer even in the winter. They just ask that you fill your fresh water tank and disconnect the hose so that the water spigot drains back properly. They even waited to ensure I got everything working before leaving me to enjoy my site! I'd definitely return to this site.

Great location. I’m between red deer (10 mins) and slyvan lake(15mins). Hot showers& laundry facilities.& washrooms. Full hook ups. Office has chocolate and popsicles to buy for the kids. Two parks - one is a cool wooden pirate ship. Wifi is meh but when doing laundry the kids brought the iPad (better bars there) and downloaded their movies while I switched the laundry . Very well kept place. We’re staying there for 2-3 weeks while my husband is working a shut down in Joffre.
