Pantry Shelf The Cafe Bakery & Fine Foods

We had an enjoyable visit to The Pantry Shelf last week. We, all three, chose the same thing off the menu and thoroughly enjoyed The Afternoon Tea. It is quite a bit of food, but it was all so wonderful. Their menu is extensive with soup, sandwiches and so much more. As well most items, including baked goods are all available to take home. The servicestaff are friendly and attentive and prices are more than competitive.

This little gem Is one of my favourite places to bring any visiting friends - the staff are so friendly (especially Donna) and make you feel welcome and at home! The food is absolutely delicious and it’s always a warm experience to eat at The Pantry Shelf! Congrats on your 25th anniversary…here’s to many, many more😊

Such a hidden gem in Port Perry, my family has been coming here since I was a kid and they still are one of my favourite restaurants. Incredible prices, flavours and service! Thank you Mackenzie!

Cozy little spot with a nice view of the water. My husband and I took the day off and enjoyed a delicious, fresh breakfast with great coffee. The waitress was a sweetheart. When we have another day off in the future we will make the 20 minute drive to come here for breakfast. Lovely service and good food and treats.

BEST BEST BEST pastry in town. Lots of goodies and drinks to go. Eat in their cozy dining room. Great assortment of meals for breakfast or lunch! Catering available. Love it here.

Over the holidays I asked for a special gift package of delicious comfort foods to be created and delivered to a friend because I was out of the country and unable to do it myself. Liz was extremely helpful in building my gift with me over email and she packaged it beautifully. She even bought a lovely card and included my personal message. I am so grateful for Liz and the effort she put in to helping me reach my friends from thousands of miles away and to create this nice memory.

NO, it’s not just tea, it’s a bit of EVERYTHING. Sandwich, scone, butter tart, and tea with a little bit of jam and whipped cream.
YES, there are other delectable fares to eat but in two years living in PP I’ve never deviated, but my family has. I didn’t even know what AFTERNOON TEA was. Take a chance and go to the bottom of Queen turn right at River and your there!

An amazing find on a random drive to Port Perry. Got the chicken salad sandwich which was excellent! The decor was nicely done too. Will definitely visit whenever I'm in Port Perry again!

My new favourite stop in Port Perry for a breakfast or lunch. Very friendly staff, great food and offers good value. Their scones are amazing - easily one of the best I've had and 5 others with me agreed.

I can see why every one raves abut this place. They now have managed to get a small patio area outside.Great view of the water and Palmer Park. You can still get take out, great spot for breakfasts, sandwiches , and pastries, oh yes pastries. I will come here again next time I'm in Port Perry.

I recently visited the Pantry Shelf and had a delightful experience. The ambiance was cozy, the service was pleasant, and the food was truly amazing. I highly recommend it for a satisfying dining experience!

Stopped in for lunch. Pantry Shelf never disappoints. I ordered the Afternoon Tea Lunch. Coffee, chicken salad sandwich, (outstanding), cranberry scone with jam and a walnut butter tart. All that for $15! Everything fresh and delicious.
The staff are super friendly and the dining area is new, and bright and clean. Highly recommended!

Delicious as usual! I grabbed a chicken salad wrap and butter tart for take-out. And of course, a couple jars of cranberry chutney! Yum!

Lovely little Cafe. Food is fresh and the service is terrific. Had one of the best omelets I've had in some time! Beautiful view of Lake Scugog across the street.

Always love going to the Pantry Shelf. If you are in a rush, go elsewhere. Typically slow, laid back country service. (2nd time I have had to request menus, as we were forgotten by the server.). However we're still going back again and again as the food and ambiance are so good.
