I have been dealing with Western Financial in FSJ for yeeeeeears (awesome) 2 years ago I moved to GP & had been trying to deal with the GP branch (horrendous). Got transferred to Grimshaw somehow and was just blown away with the customer service skills!

They are an insurance broker so take that as you will. However the staff have always been a pleasure to work with. Very timely and organized, my experience is if you haven't heard back from them on an issue or inquiry, it's because they are still working on getting the right information.

If I could rate 0 I would, unfortunatelly I can't. Their costumer services is unprofesional, they take everything personal and they put costumers in a bad situation just because they do not like being told what they are. The accepted an injury claim where there was none, they treated me like trash because I was asking and wondering why they accepted an injury claim, no one answered, they said it is confidential. The person who is in training Ian (he does not have his broker license yet) made a mistake, he is affraid of not getting his license that he didnt want to take accountability for his own mistake, I talked to the manager Sasha Buruma and instead of helping me out or even trying to find a solution for the problem, she made up excuses and putting me in the worst position as a costumer so I have a hard time finding a new car insurance. I think she doesnt have any management skills nor experience. I have been a costumer for 9 years now but I think it doesnt matter for her the loyalty of a costumber, I had my car insurance, a rental insurance and my life insurance with them. They (Ian and Sasha) are not representing the company very well, my aunt worked there many years ago, she is retired now so I know the company and that location very well to see that is going down because of those 2 people being unprofessional. I already called Wawanesa Ombudsman and made my complain.

We were customers for 17 years.
The recent lack of understanding and the way we felt treated from both the Grimshaw and Peace River branches has made us leave.
We were happy with our insurance itself but realized that a new broker who is understanding, helpful and kind was the way to go.

33 years I was a customer. Recent lack of customer appreciation or understanding, I was forced to invest somewhere else.
So disappointed in them.
