Great provincial park campground. Very well maintained, and are constantly adding more features and upgrades to the site. The “beach” on Tyhee lake isn’t really a sand beach. There a foot or two right by the water, but it’s nice grass from the parking lot down to the water. There is a roped off swim area, and a second beach where boats can land after launching from the boat launch as you enter the park. Camp sites are usually very well maintained. Only 1 vehicle per campsite. Costs if you want to have a second. Sites have a fire pit, thick wood table, and are relatively flat. Highly suggest staying here.

Our favorite place to camp locally. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Sites are fairly large and mostly private. Bikepark and playground for the kids.

Beautiful park, one of the best bc parks we've been in. Good showers, picnic area and lake. Probably one of the newer parks.

Great campsite, the park ranger was very helpful. They had good TP and hand sani in the toilets. Some of the sites had a beach front on the lake.

We have camped here twice and really like it. Good sites, well spread out. Free showers but not always hot ones. Modern washrooms and a beautiful beachfront and bush trails.

Also known as Maclure Lake also is the home of Tyhee Lake Provincial Park. There is the odd nice fish caught here in cooler weather but its mostly known as a recreational lake not a fishing lake. It is a great lake for family camping and also has a boat launch that will handle larger and more powerful speed boats.

It's probably been a dozen years since I stayed here, but it was as good as I remembered. Clean sites, beautifully treed, nice beach, biking course for the kids and quiet. My boys want to go back. The only downer was a few wasps, but they didn't bother us

Beautiful park by the lake, bathrooms were clean and showers were free. There was wildlife aplenty and sights to see, I would recommend seeing the twin falls if your in the area

I love this place. Photos are from a stormy day. We were almost the only people there.

Amazing! Gorgeous! Huge campsites! We have a 29’fw and could have parked 2, if not 3, on our site. Swimming area is beautiful and well kept. Sites are maintained nicely. There is even sinks for tenters to do dishes. Large group camping area with dining structure. Dining/ bbq area at the beach. Power at a lot of sites. Only thing that could make it any better is water at sites as well, but with all the other amenities, it’s not a big deal. Jessica, from the Park, was awesome. Friendly, efficient and a great rep for the park!

Honestly this is the perfect place to go in the summer or to have a birthday party, you can camp here and guess what?? THERE'S A DOCK TOO, but it's really a boat launch. From my experiences you rarely hear of people getting leeches. The water is also nice. There is a play ground and a volleyball net also there is two sides to choose to swim on! Be warned though over the years and the rising temperatures the weeds have grown a lot, but they aren't the long ones they are the green squishy ones

Beautiful campsites with power. Had no problem getting a spot when we arrived without a reservation, but almost all sites had reserved signs on them with no one in them. We were told that the staff haven't been trained yet to put up the available signs, so most sites sat there empty. Which is too bad because we would have liked one of the tagged reserved spots instead of the one we got.

Great campsite! Very well maintained with big sites that are private. The facilities were clean and in working order . There's flush toilets and hot showers to use which was awesome. Heard some amazing wildlife during the night which was a treat.

A nice spot to swim, haven't personally gone camping here but we highly recommend it for kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, etc. So beautiful! And a neat spot to see some wildlife.

Very nice place to go with the kids, cool playground and kind of volleyball ground. There are fire pits around so you can do a barbecue too. The Park officer? or who even cut and prepare the wood for fire from the fallen branches.

That an absolute gem of a place. We stopped here on our way to Prince George for a picnic lunch. There are a ton of tables to eat at, grass to spread out on, clean bathrooms, a nice little beach, a playground for people with little ones and a beautiful view. Definately worth the stop.
