Old Iron Horse Restaurant & Lounge

This place is amazing. I loved my visit here. Came here with a few friends and family. There were a wide range of food that was ordered. I specifically ordered The New York sirloin steak dinner which was nothing but excellent with all the vegetables cooked to the T. Surprisingly, I also liked their House Salad and their salad dressing was perfect. Their cocktails are also amazing and very refreshing. The staff are very friendly with great customer service. They were very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. We really appreciated the work they did and I look forward to returning back in the near future.

I was there for a work-related event. The restaurant gave us a really nice big private room with our own bartender. A great selection of bottled beer, but nothing on tap. There were 20 of us, and the food came out reasonably well timed, and was delicious although one of the steaks had a fair amount of fat and gristle in it but otherwise great. All in all really nothing to complain about and I would highly recommend it for a party of our size.

Their Tom's Green's salad is amazing. Updated : went back a second time. Their buffalo burger and cowboy burgers aren't great. They reminded me of the frozen patties you buy in the grocery store, greasy and fillers. Everything is well presented and top quality, except for that... I'd still recommend them, but they need to change their burger supplier.

Amazing menu with numerous choices. Service was excellent and food delicious. Looked a little high end and expensive, so almost never went in, but so very glad I did. Awesome value for my money. I will be back!!

Excellent food! Great service! Quiet atmosphere with a touch of class, and very reasonable pricing! I am very picky and my only complaint was that i didnt care for the type of bread they used for their bruschetta but my girlfriend liked it. I would highly recommend this place.

The food and service was very good. The restaurant is in a building that is styled after an antique railway station. From our approach there didn't appear to be any signs indicating the Iron Horse restaurant is there. There is a realtor's office at the other end of the building.

This is the second time I was there and as before the food was excellent. The service was good and the waitress was friendly. The very good choice in any size city and given the size of Ponoka, it is a real gem.

Fantastic service & outstanding food! Our server, I believe her name was Carra, was one of the best people in the service industry I have ever encountered! Whenever I'm in Ponoka I will eat here!
