Sobeys - Airdrie

I was just at the Sobeys in Airdrie, Alberta and would like to acknowledge an employee.

I am currently using crutches and needed to pick up a few items. Darren noticed my challenge and helped me finish my shopping. He not only helped carry my basket to the checkout he also helped me all the way out to my vehicle.

I would like to say Thank You to Darren in Airdrie for assistance and for going above and beyond today.

Clean store with well stocked shelfs .Produce is great and always good specials . Especially on items you use ! It's one thing to have sales or specials but on items you actually use,bonus ! I enjoy shopping here and will continue ! Cashiers are happy and nice to interact with .Keep up the great work Sobeys !!!

Very helpful staff I need brown sugar and although they were out and not sure when more would be arriving they told me how to make my own. One other time we needed string for tying chicken legs together and they did have any so the butcher gave us some string to use from the butcher area in the store at no charge. Simply amazing customer service

Nice selection of fresh produce. I was in and out like a convenience store, only better.

Always have a good experience when going here. Prices are a bit higher than Superstore but the quality is definitely there.

I always shop at sobeys and have met a bad worker they are always so busy and still will go out of there way to help.

Why do we give grocery stores reviews? So weird.
Anyway, it's a grocery store. They seem to have all the standard things a grocery store in Alberta should have. I guess the prices are normal, I have no idea. I was only there to get some oatmeal and see if I could find eggnog. Oatmeal was easy, eggnog I knew was unlikely going in, so I wasn't disappointed. I mean, it was June. Apart from me, who drinks eggnog in June?
The self checkout was a challenge, I'm a self checkout rookie since they don't have these in Asia.

Great specials plus some items you cannot find elsewhere

Very clean store. All items on shelves were pulled forward to the shelf edge so you didn't have to reach to back to get items. Fir the most part all labels were facing forward as well. The vegetables and fruit stands were well stocked any I didn't see any debris of spoiled fruit or vegetables. Staff very pleasant and I was asked anumber of times if I needed help finding anything.

I love this store! They play awesome music and the staff is very upbeat! Great selections, prices can be higher so keep an eye on the sales. The store is always clean and the renovations made it really bright and modern.

The store itself is clean and bright. Not bad for a place to get groceries. That being said, the ticket shock for 2 bags was a little much but, to be expected these days, I suppose.
How much can a person say about a grocery store?

Nice big clean store

A well designed store with wide aisles and signs to indicate what can be found in each aisle.
I was especially pleased with the meat selections. Prices were fair and the quality was great.

I went to the meat department for some marinade, i left with a huge smile! I love the people working there! They go above and beyond. Having fun while making customers smile is a rare talent! Moral is awesome there! Good work to all, more specifically the meat department!

I have lived in Airdrie 3 years now and have gotten to know the staff very well. They are all so kind and very easy to talk to. Through covid they have all worked so hard to make the shopping experience comfortable and they deserve to be praised for that. Really appreciate them all.

Always clean, well stocked, and super friendly service. The produce has a nice selection and the bakery makes fantastic bread, buns, desserts, etc. The pharmacy is knowledgable and helpful. The store is not overly busy which is nice and the self-checkout is convenient.
