Woodlands RV Park and River Marina

We have been displaced due to the Drayton Valley may 2023 fire and we brought our camper to woodlands to stay until we could return home. Al and Joy are the most kind and accommodating people with so much compassion for our situation. I would highly recommend coming here to camp. So thank for for amazing people like them I’m the world.

Fun place to spend time... beautiful river, nice clean resort, overall quality experience. A big thank-you to the friendly hospitable owners.

An amazing place for seasonal camping.

Really nice gated campground with beautiful scenery. It's a very clean space with showers and an array of bathrooms. Even with the smoke from the fires we had a great time.

If I could give this campsite zero stars I would. I have never in my life been treated so unfairly. We had been there many times through the years with the same owner. My spouse lit a marijuana joint in our site which is very legal. The owner came over and said this was unacceptable because it bothered her. My spouse offered to smoke elsewhere and there were no solutions given. And then we were told we had a vicious dog which is extremely untrue. They gave us no choice but to leave after 30
min. We stayed very calm and were trying to look for a solution but the feeling was not mutual. Do not camp here ever unless you enjoy being treated like a criminal for doing something very legal and like a second class citizen. Very condescending and judgemental. Stay far away. It should also be noted that many seasonal residents also smoke marijuana throughout the season.
