Home made goodness but also professional quality, wholesome style baked goods.
The scones are absolutely fabulous. Pies are great quality and substantial. The sticky buns are pure buttery, not overly sweet, and also so so good. The savory offerings are also great. Quiche, chicken pies etc.

Be sure to buy extra while there, many items freeze well.

Only wish they were open more hours and wish they carried more Made in Canada items in the gift area.

Loretta' s is a Spotless, lovely shop, delicious high quality bakery, and kind helpful staff every time we have been there.

Absolutely lovely place, the atmosphere is very authentic, as if you're at a movie perfect market place somewhere. Incredible selection of baked goods, all made naturally from scratch. Breads, rolls, buns, pies, cakes, biscuits, you name it. Also had quiche and pizza from here, loved both! Seasonal selection of farmers vegetables, fruits, berries and herbs. Kawartha Ice cream both to enjoy by cone and to grab a bucket to go. Local honey, maple syrup and more. A very nice gift shop with unique finds, something for everyone. Fresh flowers, both potted and bouquets. If you live in the area or cottaging, then its a definite must stop.

Honestly the best carrot cake! Everything is wonderful. Love the convenience of the grocery items. Key lime pie is to die for.

Best customer service! Best treats and food. Bread is amazing. The quiche is Devine, all the drinks, coffee, everything just tastes so good. Yea, you could make it yourself, but why when you can buy it from here and know it will taste amazing. I'm not a good cook or baker. So everything is a gamble when I make it. It's worth every dollar. Also just found out there is a new flavor of coffee offered every week. So clearly I have found my new coffee shop too!

Thank you Loretta’s for making the wedding desserts of our dreams come true! Everything was amazing but especially the Nanaimo squares and brownies!!!! Our guests are still talking about how amazing dessert was.

Take exit 207 and follow hwy 141 for 1km.

A delicious spot on the side of the road. Closed most of the week but we made sure we stocked up for our drive home.
The scones are a must, and the monster cookies if they have them (they were not available on our most recent visit so we got the chocolate chip ones instead).
I also picked up a blueberry cheesecake and it was one of the best I’ve ever had.
The carrot muffins got a thumbs up from the husband for the amount of carrots in it!

Beautiful and yummy bakery to pick up fresh baked goods or essentials like milk and eggs.

The "Key Lime Pie" is to die for, OMG! I will definitely be back for more! Don't be silly like me and buy the little one it went way to quick!

We happened to be driving by looking for a snack, and found this gem off the freeway. It is simply fantastic. The variety and quality of the baked goods is outstanding, and the presentation inside is very well done. Just plan on getting more than you planned for, as you will be going home with twice what you expected (unless you have willpower). Highly recommend stopping by if you're heading through the area.

Delicious treat. I had never had better strawberry- lime scones in my life than this ones. The carrot cake was delicious too and the butter tarts were finger liking 😅 Wonderful service. Family run bussiness. Definitely worth supporting. Too bad I live 2 hours away.

Had to screech the tires as I almost drove past without stopping, breaking the cardinal rule of passing bake shops. "Always stop!"
Although she was running low on many goods, I bought 6 chocolate chip cookies, a carrot cake and 6 scones. All were excellent! When on Lake Joseph rd, this is a must stop!

As always, Loretta's is great!! One of my favorite things besides her addictive baked goods, are her super polite, intelligent and friendly kids! Always a joy to see them at the register, you've done such a great job mama, be proud.

Best buttertarts around!!! Looking forward to trying all the pies! Oh and can't beat the fresh homemade pizza!! Nothing but good things to say about this bakery. Make sure to stop in if you're in the area!

This place is so yummy! I loved the pie and the brownie lemon square mixed tray 🥰 Cashier was extremely courteous, efficient and enjoyable 😊 Great place to grab basics and treats made with love..... at least it felt they were, our bodies were so happy! 💜

This bakery is amazing! Their key lime pie, coconut cream pie and pecan pie are the best pies you have ever tasted. Even better than my grandmother's pie (don't tell her I said that). We get these to bring up to the cottage, and also to bring back to the city to give to family. Every single person has said the pie is amazing and the best they've ever had!

Absolutely amazing cinnamon buns!! Not to mention the bread is so fresh. We also bought 2 pies and have no doubt they will be just as good when we dig into them later tonight! Highly recommend this place, but a reminder they are not open Sunday’s so plan ahead!!! :)

We stopped by on the drive back home from the cottage and was pleasantly surprised by this bakery. We bought a blueberry pie as a gift, the scones were a game changer. Was disappointed that they ran out of coffee but we also went on a rainy day. Would love to come back to try their pizza
