What a great park! Clean and quiet, spacious sites. Not very busy likely due to being in a less popular area of the province and no serviced sites.. but we loved it. We had our paddle boards and were able to get out a few times. Lots of starfish! We also had fun visiting Sherbrooke Village. Lotte had fun exploring the beaches and rolling around in the gravel.

A very clean and quiet park. Spots are big and most have a great view. Loved our time here. Not alot to do in the area other than drive the shoreline. Shopping is is in Antigonish . So come and plan to relax

Cute little spot to stop in for a picnic. Part of the area was blocked off for construction but we were still able to park near the road.

A great place along the harbour of Country Harbour for camping or for a picnic. Bring your kayak or canoe to take a paddle up or down the sheltered harbour! Great park to stretch your legs for awhile and relax at the waters edge...

Very clean and well maintained. We stayed in site 40 which is both private and super close to the showers etc.

Only word of caution, some of the sites are rather small and not very private so wouldn't be ideal for people like us with 2 dogs.

A bit of a drive to get there, but well worth it. Park is not overcrowded and is a great spot to launch your kayaks for a beautiful paddle.

One of my favourite parks in Nova Scotia. The sites are large and well maintained. Some of the fire pits are a bit small, but are great for cooking over. The comfort station is close by and very clean. The staff are beyond friendly and pleasant to chat with.

The park is lovely. We stayed during the week and the weather was beautiful. The grounds are very well taken care of . Garbage removal is done regularly. Bathrooms are scrubed daily. The sites are largest sites we have ever seen at a campground. We stayed on the island. The breeze off the water saved us from the hot weather. We will be returning in the future.

Very nice park. Loses a star due to the 5 m high sodium vapor lamp over the latrines. Destroyed the dark sky for any campsites in the vicinity. What a terrible lighting choice.

This is a Provincial Campground worth visiting. Unique arm of salt water. Stunning sun rises and sunsets. Boat ramp into this stellar arm of salt water allows for easy access kayaking and other types of boating. Relaxing atmosphere.

This is an amazing location off the beaten track offering great views and lots of activities in the park and nearby. It’s a great base for daily excursions to Guysborough, Tor Bay Beach Provincial Park and the Sherbrooke area. Only stayed two nights (after 3 nights in Sherbrooke) but will definitely come back soon. General store not far away with an NSLC outlet and the drive down from Hwy 7 is beautiful. A hidden gem IMHO.

Our second time here, beautiful well kept park. Usually quiet except for the person on lot 12 running their generator day and night. Park rangers gave him hell next morning because of all the complaints, so they're gone now... All 👍

Large, clean, manicured sites. Excellent views of Country Harbour River. Easy access and approximately 41km from Sherbrooke.

Been here a few times it's always great. This time though we forgot bug spray on Aug 31 and the guy manning the office lent us some. Really nice guy !

Excellent park, well maintained and friendly staff. Sad that there have been cutbacks at the Nova Scotia parks, they need to be supported. Thanks for the great weekend!
