Lamont Health Care Centre

My son was here for surgery yesterday. Apparently nothing available in Edmonton? But what a great experience! I mean it was surgery, so not fun, but everyone there right from admitting to his surgical team to his unit staff - they were ALL amazing, attentive, kind, compassionate and made his stay there so much calmer and stress free. We were never left unattended. While waiting I was 100% informed at all times as to his status, and I was so relieved that he was being cared for by such competent caring amazing staff. If your surgery is ever bumped to small town Lamont COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you all for restoring my faith in our Healthcare system.

I gotta say, this is the first hospital in my entire life that we experienced such warmth and care. Usually we have anxiety because bigger locations have burnt out staff and no one really seems to care about the patients' mental well being. My mom and I couldnt stop talking about how absolutely nurturing, kind and patient everyone is here.

My mom came here for day surgery yesterday. We were greeted by Andrea at the front; she was incredibly sweet and checked us in. Went forward and met Brianne, she was very thorough at making sure my mom was all prepped snd ready for the surgery, I admired her patience with us! Right before the procedure, Shannon introduced herself and made sure my mom felt safe and comfortable - really reduced her anxiety knowing that shannon will be looking after her during the procedure. Post op, I met Kierra and she was just so fun, sweet and friendly. I didnt feel shy about asking her questions because she was incredibly nonjudgemental and chill!

When we were leaving, Gwen at the front desk noticed that my mom was really dizzy and told me to get my car closer to the door and stayed with my mom until I did. She asked my mom directly if she was okay and was just so warm and kind.

We cant even express into words how incredible all these 5 ladies are. All of them had such an important role to play and they did absolutely amazing! Thank you guys for taking such great care of my mom 🥰

I was there about 3 weeks ago, on Sept 8th and had a very positive experience at their surgical day ward. I felt respected. I was always kept informed about what was going to happen next. Thank you so much everyone!!

Every staff member we came in contact with from the front desk at "check in" to the lab techs to nurses and doctors during my pre-op and surgery were professional, respectful, and compassionate. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, & put me at ease. A major shout out to LPN Suzie. She was so amazing!

I had a day surgery here. I went in so anxious since it was my first surgery, but the staff were comforting, knowledgeable, and kind. They listened to my needs and were very respectful. The experience was positive.

I recently had 2 cataract surgeries at your facility. As a healthcare professional myself I give the staff a huge bouquet.. From the admitting department to the surgical team and Dr. I felt that I was being listened to and treated so well. I have always thought that a happy smile, introduction and a little laughter always helps to relieve some of the stress of a surgical procedure. Thank you again and keep up the great job! Linda Lusk

I went into Lamont Health Care Center recently for a day surgery. I was very impressed by how clean everything was and how friendly the staff were. They made me feel like a person, not just another patient. The nurses and doctors were very kind and made sure I was comfortable at all times and explained everything they were doing. I am so appreciative for their exceptional care. Thank you fir making my stay so comfortable.

My four year old daughter needed her tonsils and adenoids out and tubes inserted in her ears. Lamont health care center made this experience so smooth. She was obviously scared and the staff made her feel so special. They were compassionate, patient, understanding. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and ready to leave me to go into surgery. Once she was out, they tended to her frequently to make sure she was ok, brought her endless warm blankets and lots of fun bandaids to wear. I 10/10 recommend this facility.

I have gone here 3 times this year for 2 diff procedures. I found the front staff friendly and accommodating, the nurses were just so kind compassionate and caring. Tended to my every need. I felt very cared for by them.

At the Day Surgery unit for cataract surgery. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. The nurses in the unit also did an excellent job of post-op teaching.

Always treated with the upmost respect and dignity! Dr iordache is amazing i seen him when i went to emergency! Always happy and easy to get along with! Nurses are freindly! You can really feel the smalltown come out in this place and its awesome keep up the good work! I drive an hour to come here because this place cares!!

Easy FREE Parking. A convenient location. Freindly, courteous, professional staff. A lot of history at this hospital. Great range of services provided to residents and surrounding communities. A real asset to Rural Alberta. Well utilized by people seeking medical care and specific procedures.

I have to say this was the best experience I have had at a hospital in a very long time . No long wait staff are great know we're I will be going from now on
