only 10 mins drive to Elk Island National Park. Room was very basic but clean. Overall it is a nice hotel because of the price.

Everyone was so nice and I love how the rooms are very clean and the best hotel I have ever been to the service was so nice and breakfast amazing. Will definitely recommend

For a hotel that is almost " in the middle of nowhere ", it was fantastic!
Super clean, great beds and blankets, pets welcome and conveniently stayed in room near the exits and a decent continental breakfast. While this hotel ďoes not have a pool the rooms have amazing views! And there is a great pizza place up the road. Coin Laundry on site and did I mention it was VERY affordable?!

I have been really impressed with this hotel. The staff has been great and very accommodating. Rooms are clean, large, and modern. Breakfast kits are giving out out you leave to early for the full Breakfast.

Newer hotel. Nice roomy rooms. Not really sound proof. Could hear someone snoring in next room. But rooms were very clean. Comfortable beds and very good shower or bath tub. Room was warm and nice size TV. Fridge and microwave. Coffee machine. Continental breakfast. Cereal, coffee, toast, sausage in bag. Omelette in a bag. Waffle machine. Not working? Really disappointed.

Due to my mom's surgery my sister, mom and myself decided to stay overnight the night before. Everything was excellent starting with calling to book two rooms close together, the cleanliness of the hotel, the staff and how accommodating they were with our requests, the free breakfast choices and especially for the no charge late check out!!

Stayed for our Edmonton roadtrip and picked up the kids out in Warspite to join us. It was the perfect place to lay down after a busy day at the mall. Plenty of nearby roadside attractions to visit the next day within driving distance.

Little bit delayed but such a lovely place! My mom and I came to town as she was getting surgery. We didnt know what time she would be out so we inquired about late check out, they said for any hospital visits they dont charge for late check out and I could stay as long as i needed. How amazing! The breakfast was top par as most places give you and apple or yogurt, this place gives you a full blown feast included in the stay. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend this place.

One of the best cleanest rooms I've stayed in. This is coming from a guy who stays in hotels frequently. The staff were great and the breakfast lounge was pretty well set up. Definitely would come back again!

The cleanest Hotel I ever stayed at. The staff and the service was exceptional and they went above and beyond. They accomodated my situation and I am most grateful to them for this. The countryside outside the Hotel was stunning and its right beside any store that you will ever need. Well done Heartland Inn. I have stated in Hotels all over the world but this Hotel was the most welcoming. Thanks to the professional and friendly staff.

The place was great, very friendly and helpful staff. The parking lot and the inside were spotless. They have a cold breakfast available.

We stayed in the king size suite on our wedding night. The suite was clean and the staff were helpful with the few questions we had. (The ice machine is hiding on the ground floor in the breakfast/lounge area near the main entrance.)

Great little hotel along the 15. Very clean, friendly staff, and (while we were there anyway) very quiet. Simple continental breakfast to get your day started. Super convenient, close location to explore Elk Island National Park

This hotel is listed as 2 stars however it is far above and beyond that! Mr. Jonk graciously provided me with a discounted rate while in town completing my placement at the local hospital and I can't thank him enough. The hotel is new and beautiful with amazingly comfortable beds. Each room has it's own WiFi router for fast speeds. The kitchenette is more of a full kitchen with a full sized fridge, microwave and modern hot plate style stove top. Each room also has a keurig machine and 2 entrances. You can enter from either the hotel itself or from the outside with parking right outside your room. The hospitality here is second to none, I was shown to my room and shown how to work the rooms individual heating and cooling system as well as the tv setup and internet setup. The rooms are bright, spacious and clean. The hotel is very easy to find. It's very well kept and landscapes with picnic benches for guests to enjoy outside as well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to this area for any reason.

The Heartland Hotel is a great place to stay. The manger there really does anything she can to make your stay as happy and comfortable as it can be. I recommend this place to everyone but specially to workers away from home.

The rooms are modern and adequately furnished, especially for the price. The breakfast is on the better side of the mostly terrible quality hotel breakfasts, and they leave snacks and juice going into the evening. By far the best choice in the area.

I felt the girl that was on the desk when we checked in could of been a bit friendlier she passed me the key cards and didn't say have a good stay, or nothing about the wifi, almost didn't even look up... the room was nice I liked that it had a chair that I could sit and watch tv... there was a table and chair also I could sit at to put on my makeup... the breakfast was nice it has a lot to choose from. We went there because my mother in law had an appointment in Edmonton, I booked 2 nights and we have family in Lamont that she stayed with, any way she didn't get her procedure done, so we decided to go home to Fort Mcmurray so when I told the guy that we were checking out even though we were booked for 2 nights, I booked with Expedia, he wanted to be able to give me money back I told him it was ok but he felt that we should get money back... it was good experience... we have to go back in May for the same appointment not sure if we'll be going all the way to Edmonton or but if we don't we will go back here to stay again....

We attended a wedding just outside of Lamont in August 2022. When initially booking in March, it was called the Heartland Hotel, and the experience was foreboding. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to book two nights, was finally told I was successful but was also told that, in the process, all the previously booked rooms for other guests had somehow been erased - would I please let the bride and groom know. Like what ...????

Fast forward to August. Upon arrival, Evan politely informed me that we were only booked for one evening and that "we" really had a problem. This individual in March had, I'm sure, messed up more than his fair share of reservations. And then.....in walks Charlie.

Aside from being engaging, friendly, always exuding positivity, and the epitome of hospitality, she is also efficient as hell. Rooms were reassigned and manipulated so that somehow we were able to spend two evenings in what was supposed to be an already fully booked hotel. Apparently not.
When the shuttle failed to arrive to take us to the wedding, she personally offered to chauffer us to the wedding venue (we didn't take her up on it). I also forgot my cell phone charger. Having arrived home 400 km later, I phoned and was incredibly relieved to hear her say she'd track it down and make sure I got it - and I did.

This woman should be conducting classes in the hospitality industry, if not running the chain of Days Inns. May you be blessed enough to run into her if you ever have occasion to stay at this hotel - which, as an aside, is modern, immaculately clean, convenient, and runs quite an amazing continental breakfast.

What can I say... Heartland hotel is clean and affordable. They offer everything you need for a quick comfortable stay. I will not hesitate to stay here again if I ever find myself passing through Lamont...
