Auberge la Belle aux Berges

This is a magical place! It is so well-designed and restored! The garden in the back slopes down to the riverside and it is very well-maintained. The host makes a fabulous breakfast and his hospitality is top notch. The linens are soft and luxurious! The location was perfect for a getaway and also close enough to Montreal for a day trip. I will dream of returning to this beautiful auberge until my dream comes true a second time!

What a gem! My wife and I can't say enough about this place (We loved it). The owner went out of his way to ensure our stay was above 5 star. Really enjoyable gentleman and what chef he is. His breakfast was incredible (included with our stay!). The accommodations, the location, the rest, all excellent. An all around relaxing stay. Worth every penny. We are already planning a reason to come back in the fall.

Incredible experience all around. 6 star service. Chef prepared a breakfast (included with room) that was unbelievable. We will only stay there from now on when we're in the area. Beautiful location, and the host made us feel like royalty. Perfect for an Anniversary.

I stayed at the house two nights while on business in the area. What a great experience! The house is decorated with taste - the owner Alain mentioned that it is he who has decorated it and he "only" changed the décor three time in the last few years. Wow! He has definitely an esthetics eye! I was taken care of during my stay by Sylvain who explained to me in detail all options available when I checked in and prepared two unforgettable breakfasts, served with grace and professionalism.
The landscape in the backyard is amazing, there is even a pool (closed for my stay as the season was over).
Highly recommended and rightly priced. I will definitely stay there again next time.

This should be your first choice to witness the beauty of the countryside and the Richelieu river! This is a beautiful house with a lovely view of the river across from the Patriotes memorial. The backyard includes a pool, fireplace, and dock with fishing rods. Our hosts were kind, attentive, and even helped arrange travel to the airport for a very reasonable price. Dinner is available for $35 if there are at least 6 dining, and it is excellently prepared. Breakfast is equally delicious and sometimes includes fresh croissants. If the Autoroute 20 is busy there is also ferry service to the other side of the river. It is right near the house. If you are lucky, you will meet the hosts two wonderful daschunds, one named Julien. Notnto worry if you don't like dogs - they stay out of the guest area so as to not disturb anyone, and are silent.

It is stellar..love the place...extremely beautiful..friendly atmosphere.

C'est vraiment un bel endroit. L'aménagement extérieur est pensé pour y trouver un petit coin pour relaxer. Chacun y trouve son compte. C'est paisible comme endroit. On s'y sent comme chez nous. Très propre et le déjeuner est délicieux. Belle trouvaille. Je recommande fortement.

La demeure est parfaite, charmante et chaleureuse, notre petit séjour était confortable et le propriétaire a su nous mettre à l’aise dès le début; soucis du détail, qualité de service, ambiance détendue!
Et que dire du décor des lieux!!!!!
La nourriture était très bien aussi, petit déjeuné inclus dans notre nuitée, les quantités sont parfaites et qualité de la nourriture est au rendez vous!

Nous avons tout aimé de notre séjour à la Belle aux Berges, l'accueil chaleureux de l'hôte (Albert), le charme du lieu ancestral, les chambres magnifiques et la vue imprenable sur le Richelieu. Nous avons opté pour le diner 6 services qui était délicieux, fait de produits locaux et servi avec attention par Albert lui-même. Le petit-déjeuner compris était bien au-delà de nos attentes. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

Nous sommes allés pour une nuit, arrivés sur les lieux nous avions décidés de passer deux nuits à cause de la beauté paradisiaque et l'accueil chaleureux et respectueux du propriétaire, le déjeuner est excellent...
