I had a fantastic time. Elvis and his team did an excellent job giving me a great inside look at the wildlife and environment of the Amazon. Elvis was able to answer all my questions. I felt safe throughout my stay. I got to see different aspects and areas of the Amazon. I highly recommend you experience the Amazon with Elvis and his team.

Tour Guide - El guía fue Jair was fantastic as he spoke English and shared great experience and communication of the Amazon via nature, water and habitats.

We completed a night walk and next day a tour of the mashra lodge. The lunch provided was fantastic as it had all local and fresh produce from chicken, fish and beef.

Amazon tour also helped via providing communications, dates/times with various options and final pricing prior to booking with them and responded really quick via Whatsapp

Amazon Tour was the perfect choice for our 4D/3N jungle tour (we chose the excursion called Amazon Plan Extreme).

More specifically though, our guide, Golbert, was an absolute gem! He was passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about providing us with a memorable experience. He went out of his way to ensure that we were well taken care of and told plenty of interesting stories along the way.

If you’re looking for an authentic experience in the Amazon, look no further than Amazon Tour, but be sure to request Golbert by name. He’s multilingual and has a wealth of knowledge about the jungle!

I planned my trip last minute, but the guide and coordinator were both amazing and my only regret is that I didn't have a few more days to explore. We somehow fit so many different experiences into 3 days without feeling like I was being rushed around. We had some surprise heavy rain the first day and I was told to sit back and relax and enjoy the jungle while they worked out with my hotel how to transport me to the boat. My guide Robert (hopefully that's how he spells it) was very knowledgable and great at explaining facts about animals and plants as well as the beliefs and cultures of the surrounding communities. When he told me he had only started learning english 3 months before I was SHOCKED and a little embarrassed, I've been trying to learn spanish for almost a year and he put me to shame. I hope to remain in contact with him so he can help me more with my spanish. The area is very safe and I had no worries about my safety or taking out my phone or camera. The trip definitely wasn't for someone who can't live without AC or deal with heat or rain, but the accommodations were all clean, secure and comfortable and the people were friendly and helpful. It was an unforgettable experience and I would love to go back and see more.

We booked the 2 nights 3 days tour with Amazon Tour. Everything was super well organized. We got picked up at the airport and were brought to the hotel / airport after the tour. Our guide Golbert was amazing. He showed us so many different aspects of life in the Amazon. The two nights were really intense and beautiful experiences. The indigenous communitys were super welcoming and happy to share their ways of daily life. I can 100 % recommend booking with this agency and would book it again!

Amazon Tours (AT) is truly an unbelievable tour operator. I worked with Fabio, who was a fabulous and accommodating front end to the organization. Chatting with him I was convinced that this company was the best choice for a fussy and demanding client who wanted an authentic and deep jungle experience.

I was paired with Golbert as my guide. Golbert is a dream tour guide. Caring, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, adventurous, kind, patient, accommodating, funny, helpful, and professional. He knew exactly how to find sloths, talk to monkeys, lure tarantulas, and cut through the jungle day and night. I had full confidence in him and never worried about my safety and stamina with him nearby. He even carried my bags and paddled the canoe! An absolute 10/10 and I recommend you demand him by name as he speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. He’s loved everywhere we went and I suspect I got better service and food because of him.

The tour was amazing. The Amazon does not disappoint. Sloths, monkeys, dolphins, snakes, all there. The night activities are crazy exciting. AT pairs your guide with a local indigenous guide so you get deep insight into locales, customs, and animals. One guide snagged caimans right out of the water while Golbert paddled. Another taught about his tribe and traditions. I thought the indigenous stuff would be lame but it was terrific!

So…do not hesitate to book with AT. Demand Golbert as your guide. And get to Leticia for an amazing experience.

Here are a few tips for your trip:
- bring long socks. They supply rain boots and you want to wear high socks beneath
- bring extra clothes. The rainforest is wet and stuff doesn’t dry sometimes so bring extra clothes
- AT supplies a rain poncho. You may want to bring rain pants
- the 5 day trip is sufficient to see and do everything. Def do the city tour FIRST so you know what you’ll see in the jungle
- go with the flow. The AT itinerary is perfect. If you have issues, speak up because they are great at accommodating
- at the monkey reserve prepare to be wrestled by one very hyper teenaged wooly monkey - Martin is a dynamo who is harmless and fun
- bring ear plugs. The jungle is a noisy place and some places keep roosters and dogs
- trust in AT. ALL their crew are lovely people who care about their clients, their environment, and their partners.
- leave generous tips. Covid has really devastated this region and the remaining businesses and workers are still struggling to get back on their feet

First of all the organisation of this trip is pretty much faultless . Timings, pick ups, transfers etc.. I did the 4 night 5 day Jungle and amazon river tour, everything was pretty much as described, and my Guide (Alvis) and Translator (Mitchi) have so many years experience between them. It is clear to see that they are passionate and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience in the Amazon, it is an incredible sensation seeing nature and more so when the guys are passionate about showing you and informing you of everything in nature of purpose tio humans. They answered every question I had in detail and from start to finish we were attended. It was a 2 person tour and felt very personalised.

It is expensive but I understand why, the planning, park admissions, accommodation, food, boat maintenance, fuel, plus the logistics and organisation and the preparation before hand add up then there is the insurance they provide and of course their expertise. Call it a lifetime investment and you can walk away from the tour knowing that you experienced something incredible and amazing.

After this tour I asked for a more personalised jungle experience last minute and tue next thing I knew I was walking through the jungle with my translator and a local ticuna community /tribe guide and sleeping out in nature whilst looking for all sorts of night animals.

They have many stories to tell and I'm sure you'll have an incredible experience.. get it booked and have a great time!

Inigualable la experiencia, hemos visto la diversidad de la amazonía, tribus indígenas, fauna( caimanes, perezosos, guacamayos,tarántulas), diversidad de pescados, degustación de productos de la tierra, cómo el tapir, y un guía inmejorable Yehsit, que es un máquina. Muy recomendable y para repetir.

Nous avons passé un super séjour en Amazonie. Nous avons fait le programme Amazonica experience plan et tout était parfait. Merci bcp à Goldbert qui a été un guide d'exception, très gentil, à l'écoute et très aidant :il a toujours fait en sorte que nous soyons au mieux en adaptant le programme. Le programme est très bien pensé, les sites Flor de lotus et marasha sont exceptionnels. Le choix des chambres est top, la nourriture excellente.
