Hotel Mitru

Wonderful hotel in Tupiza! Great place to relax. We stayed a few days in two rooms with shared bathrooms. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast is good.

Nice, clean rooms with private bathroom. Great pool, friendly staff, fine breakfast and they were able to provide sandwiches-to-go for lunch. Not expensive. Location is also very accomodating.

A very nice hotel with a large inner courtyard with swimming pool. Breakfast is very good, with fresh juices, fruit and eggs. Rooms are basic but clean.

The only place to stay in Tupiza - lovely hotel with a great pool, sunny breakfast room, and really helpful and friendly staff.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, ours had a lovely outside area too. The whole place is sparkling clean.

Breakfast is a great selection and there’s complimentary tea available all day.

The pool and garden is really beautiful maintained and it was great to get back from a hike and dive in.

The staff are the five star element of the hotel - everyone is friendly and helpful (big thanks to Edgar who answered all our questions and tolerated my Spanish). There’s a good value laundry service, luggage storage, and you can use the pool after check out if your onward travel is later in the day.

There is also a tour agency connected to the hotel if you’re interested in that.

Really, don’t look anywhere else - just book!

Hotel Mitru in Tupiza has amazing people and service. They have one in Tarija too. The Tupiza Hotel looked like it was going through a renovation when I was there. So I look forward to seeing it upon my return. The staff was kind and amazing. They also are connected to Tupiza Tours so you don't have to go far to book your excursions. Ana from Tarija Hotel Mitru was wonderful in coordinating transportation with Mariana from Tupiza Hotel Mitru. They even dropped off the luggage I didn't want to take on my 4-day excursions to the airport. So grateful for them.

Beautiful hostel in charming Tupiza. An oasis in the west, lovely gardens and pool, very clean room and amenities, great breakfast in the morning, fast wifi and huge secure yard for my moto. If you want a hint of luxury without breaking the bank, perfect.

Great hotel to stay. Basic but well done; clean, hot shower, best breakfast and a nice pool. Situated in the middle of Tupiza.
After finishing my 4 day tour, i found out i forgot my Ipad back at the hotel. I thought i would never see it again. But instead, Fabiola from Tupiza tours which is inside the hotel, made sure it was sended to La Paz where i could pick it up. Incredible honesty and service. All in all a good hotel with even better staff.

We stayed here on our way to Argentina and back. So got to see two different rooms. Both were very clean, beds comfortable and a great variety of food for breakfast. The personnel is very helpful and suggested a good place for dinner right across the street. We were traveling by car and they had a space available for parking overnight.

Wonderful hotel located in the center of Tupiza. Members are very sweet and professional. The service is good.
I highly recommend this place for the travelers.

Love Tupiza and this hotel was a good choice. It was very tasteful, with a good breakfast, and clean rooms. Unfortunately we got two twins instead of a queen but I think that may have been a last minute booking kind of problem. Very cold at night!

My partner and I stayed in this beautiful establishment, and we were so well looked after. Fabiola and family take real pride in maintaining high standards, and were so accommodating to our needs. The breakfast caters for everyone and is plentiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are jolly and helpful, and the swimming pool is a perfect tonic to cool down from the Tupiza heat. This is a real Spaghetti Western type of town, surrounded by some unique landscape and countryside. If you plan on visiting south Bolivia, a stay at Mitru Hotel in Tupiza is a must!

Super nice people and a super nice hotel! The atmosphere and attention to detail is topnotch. The hotel is wonderfully decorated with spacious rooms, comfy beds, hot water showers!!
There’s a swimming pool, wifi, good restaurant, breakfast is better than most other places and safe parking for vehicles.

Probably the best in Tupiza, Highly recommended to anyone that can afford around $40USD per night for two people.
Very cheap considering the high quality of comfort and cleanliness provided, the very helpful staff and the great spread for breakfast.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Mitru and we like it very much. The cosy atmosphere, the good breakfast and the friendly staff contributes to make us happy in this place.
