El Aljibe Comida Típica

My boyfriend and I ate here while we were visiting Santa Cruz. The decoration inside was very nice and felt traditional. Miguel was a great waiter and helped us order authentic food. Overall really recommend for finding a nice independent place to eat in Santa Cruz.

Sunday lunch. Traditional Santa Cruz cuisine. When I visited, the restaurant was full. 15 min waiting time. Service was excellent. 10 min waiting time from order to serving. Good presentation and flavor.

The food was good, it’s so different for someone who never ate Bolivian food, the service was a bit slow but the waiters were soo nice and friendly, the atmosphere is so cute and beautiful, highly recommend it👍🏼

Traditional Bolivian food restaurant. I had the Peanut soup, Surubí de la abuela and the Quiero más dessert. I also tried the Chicha Camba, it was refreshing and different. I liked it all in general, but especially the Surubí which is a fish with vegetables and coconut milk, it was very tasty and low fat.

This is the best restaurant in Santa Cruz if not all of Bolivia. All the traditional dishes as if Grandma we're making it in her kitchen. The prices are very reasonable. This is an unmissable place.

It’s very authentic and remarkable house of famous Bolivian singer Gladys Moreno’s house. It’s something like living memory. From entrance you can start to dream with her songs and you can confuse to read the lyrics or the menu. First order your sopa de mani and dream again the last century. Definitely recommended and definitely you have to try sopa de mani!

Nice and still affordable food, the place is cozy with nostalgic atmosphere. The service could be more attentive and the neighbourhood is a bit dodgy (city center) but certainly worth the visit.

Very good traditional Santa Cruz dishes, the ancient decoration makes a good atmosphere to have a great time eating with family or friends.

Typical food. Nice ambiance and service. The alligator is excellent. On a Sunday you have waiting times if in groups larger than two.

El Aljibe Restaurant is one of my "must visit" places in Santa Cruz. Well prepared traditional food, "comida tipica", is hard to find elsewhere. And now you can get your food delivered to your house :) To top their delicious menu, the service is excellent.

Fantastic tasting menu to have an introduction to Bolivian/Santa Cruz cuisine. Our waiter was also extremely nice and explained all dishes carefully.

Amazing restaurant and a must try when in Santa Cruz! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. There were so many great options that we were very overwhelmed and the lovely owner helped us and explained various items on the menu. All very traditional food local to Santa Cruz. Enjoyed the mini buffet for 2 very much. Exceeded expectations and dining in the patio was very cosy.

If you don't eat here, you're missing out.

Very nice local food, we got an explanation for each service, the food is excellent. A bit pricy but worth the experience.
