Vodenitsata Traditional Restaurant

One of the best experience I’ve ever had in a Bulgarian restaurant. Two very young but bold waiters welcomed us and served for us with professional manners, very attentive and polite.
The dishes were beautiful served and amazingly delicious, all of them! We tried different things, we wanted to try all of their specialties. The homemade bread was so tasty! The “parlenka with garlic”, the pork steak, the crispy chips, the eggplant balls with mozzarella- amazing! Every dish was so well cooked… we really overate. The homemade red wine is a must! The interior is made with a taste.
We met the owner in our previous visit, he seems a nice person who knows how a good restaurant must work, how the food must serve, and how must taste!
Keep the good work! Definitely we will come again and again to enjoy the menu and the nice experience.

Very good authentic experience!!
Garlic bread, shopska salad, Kapama stew and some chicken and garlic with potatoes and a bottle of nice Melnik 55 wine at 120 Leva.
Great atmosphere and cozy environment with subtle music.
Only small thing to add is, we felt it was a bit cold in there. But overall very good experience!

The best food in Bansko we spend here 2 days we wish we can find this place earlier. every plate was worth it, especially the cheese with almond and figs

Super high quality place that has the best wine list in bansko. They make an effort with the quality of the service & presentation of the dishes.
The price is a little higher than most places but the environment is more luxurious & the food is of better quality, my only issue is that they only take cash…

Friendly staff and nice ambiance. Went twice and was quite empty. Tried chicken dishes. Not a fan of chips but the chicken was so tender and juicy both times.

This restaurant is a little hidden away but it’s worth finding. A beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious dishes. The menu is vegetarian friendly and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommend the shopska salad and lutenitsa.

Good Bulgarian food. We dinned in the basement which is in an historical architectural style but there's also ground level yard for dinning/drinking al fresco or 2 higher floors for better light . They don't speak English well but the menu is bilingual.

The food is amazing! We went with 5 people, everyone ordered something different - and everything was delicious! The outdoor seating is very nice.

The best restaurant in Bansko. We have tried a few different dishes, and all of them were super delicious. The staff are very polite and friendly. You must try the home made ice cream.

Really impressive restaurant. The food was very well priced and tasty. Would definitely eat there again. The restaurant is a little hidden, Once found definitely not forgotten. Definitely worth a visit 5 stars all day long 👍
