An authentic Italian restaurant just moments away from the center of Balcik, yet cozy and intimate - perfect for families & couples alike. Definitely some of the best pizza you will have - as well as pasta & fish, as the owner is Italian and, well, that says it all.

Situated in the quaint corner of Marina City, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The food was fresh and generous. Sometimes it's worth stepping back from the sea to explore new tastes. I am very much looking forward to my next visit.

Had gone yesterday with my wife for what seemed to be a well rated Italian restaurant in a smallish town in Bulgaria. I must admit that we came with lowish expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the authenticity! This restaurant hit all the key criteria we look for namely good food and a warm ambiance.
Food was absolutely the star of the restaurant.
The decor and the Lil radio playing Italian radio was a nice touch.
We had tried the pasta when we went and we were absolutely floored by the taste. The portion sizes are not overtly generous, but it is perfect if you go for a three course meal. We came out feeling just full enough with the tiramisu scratching our sweet itch.
Overall this place deserves a 5* and we can't wait to get back to try the pizza!

- really good pizza, thin, tasty and good quality ingredients
- not that many pizza choices (~10) but that's good as it keeps quality high
- owner is italian and he also serves tables. You can see this in quality of food
- quiet place at the ground floor of a residential building and can be accessed from both road and marina walking area
- parking might be hard to find but that's all balcik marina area
- you can pay by card; good prices

Me and my family love to eat pizza and we try it everywhere we go. This place is the best of all, and I don't know how to say this so that you want to try it too. I will always remember that taste and hardly wait to come back to Balchik and it in this restaurant again! Great job!!!

Nice place with good italian food. We recommend pene arrabiata and spaghetti carbonara with the house wine.

Stopped here for a dinner while in the area and found a welcoming staff, great service and wonderful food. Including gluten free options. Priced right, this is a must stop when in Balchik!

Super delicious food and the best service

Great pizza. You must try Diavola and Margherita. They also have good wines. The guy that served us is Italian and i think he's also the owner, great guy. You should eat here when come to Balchik

Pizza and pasta were amazing

As Italian living in Bulgaria, time to time I feel like I have to eat some Italian cuisine.
This has happened during the holiday in Balchik and, me and my girlfriend, we have decided to try Peperoncino.
The place is in a very calm and discreet corner under a very central commercial and residential building.
The location is well decorated, the owner really took good care to every details. All this is nice but it's not what made us fall in love with this restaurant.
What we loved was the menu, the owner (who is Bulgarian, at the beginning we thought he is Italian) loves Italian cuisine and he is truly passionate about it and totally nailed it. His passion is projected by the good quality of the ingredients he uses, the menu is short but has the right dishes you may want in a Italian restaurant and this allow him to ensure the best quality.
We were so happy with this restaurant we decided to have dinner there every day after the first night.

Totally recommended, the owner passion for his job is best experience I've ever had in a long time.

This restaurant is a must while in Balchik.
We got the food within 10 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. It’s been a while since I had such a tasteful lasagna.
The service was great too.
I will for sure come back.

One of the best pizzas I ever had - actually two pizzas (because I was here with my wife and we shared). I've told that to the chef (the owner, too?) when he came to our table to ask how we are.
The service was pretty fast, and even the additional desert, ordered late, came very fast. It was a tiramisu-in-a-cup, also delicious.
I'm glad I catched a free table this time, because two days ago we tried to eat here, but it was very crowded.
I think we'll come again for other Italian good stuff.

Very good food, nice staff, excellent service

Great find. Real Italian ingredients and dishes. Even the chef serves and walks between customers. We had two pizzas. Thin crust, full of flavour. The staff was great. Speaking English. Can pay with card.
