Balchik Promenade

The Balchik Promenade is the place we enjoyed the most in Balchik. It is so beautiful and so clean! All the restaurants looked amazing and the statues from the promenade were interesting. I liked that there were many benches and you could have a rest when you wanted. The view from the promenade is amazing because you can see the sea as well as the Balchik hills and cliffs.

It is a very nice place to go for a long walk in the evening. You have all the restaurants on the shore.

Good for a walk at sunset or a run in the morning. You can admire the Castle from outside and enjoy the seaside.

This is probably the best seaside promenade in Bulgaria - wide, well kept, not too busy, with lots of cozy restaurants and bars on one side, thankfully no cheap tin shops for t-shirts and flip flops, and a few exquisite hotels on the other side. The best alternative to the crowded, shabby and run down Golden Sands walking area.

I liked that a lot. If what you can see and experience in Golden Sand is a way too crowdy, then this place you will like. Spacious, not so many people, big variety of restaurants. Also some sort of a pier with spectacular views.

Lovely town with many small beaches along the seaside. The sea is clean and peaceful.

First things first, I remind you tourists come here for the nature, not the buildings.
A great place for a morning jogging!
I recommend the restaurant White house due to its good food and prices.
You can get ice cream anywhere on a great price. I don't recomment the nearest convenience stores, prices are too high. Walk about 150m to te second line to get normal price products.
The library (located nearby the restaurant Salt & Pepper) walking towards The Palace) is an A-W-E-S-O-M-E idea!!! There are books in Bulgarian, Rusian and English language. Great! Keep on!!!

A pleasant stroll along the waters edge. Loads of little restaurants, but no pushy sellers.

Perfec promenade. I was surprised there were not so much people despite the peak season.

The sea is beautiful, though the promenade is a bit too touristy for our tastes.

Very beautiful promenade by the sea with lots of very good restaurants and bars. Lots of people around, but not a crazy, party crowd. Perfect for families and romantic walks.

Balchik is more of a residential and promenade resort, rather than a sunbathing one. The promenade is beautifull, with a spectacular view of hills, trees, many terraces, hotels with ecclectic architecture, boat harbour and the sea. Nice walk during the day, wonderfully lit at night. It canbe romantic or crowded depending on the hour. Small beach spots, no water entertainment, as Balchik has a different function. Must see: Botanical Garden and Queen Mary of Romania's estate and challet

Nice and busy place. Unfortunately municipality Balchik and Albena can not decide how to share road works expenses to repair the beach coast road from just after Botanical Garden to Albena
