Guest house - restaurant St. George - WE SPEAK ENGLISH :)

Everything was perfect! We arrived around dinner time, but our kids couldn't stop themselves from playing at the spacious garden. Dinner was amazing, pork ribs was sooo juicy, well done by professional chef. Very generous breakfast as well. We had a great time and couldn't wait to come back.

The house, host and facilities were excellent! The rooms were sparkling clean, food was incredible and Tisho’s hospitality was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax, or have a fun weekend away from the city.

We spent here only one night, we had an amazing dinner, all the food was fresh and homemade. The owner is also a fantastic chef and he is one of the best host we ever encountered. Perfect place for rest with or without kids! Everywhere is very clean, the yard is big and well maintained, the host is very friendly and nice guy. But the restaurant…. The restaurant is serving pleasure with high quality :D Delicious home made food! And you can order in advance things that are out of the menu.
For sure I’ll visit again!

If you are passing within 400km of range definitely make sure to visit and try some of the delicious dishes!

We went there last weekend, and from the start till the end Tisho and his team made sure that everything was perfect, and this wasn't easy given we were 3 families with children 😅 The atmosphere was great, the garden is fantastic. The area has a lot to offer, sightseeing, motocross competition, monasteries and etc. And last, but not least....the food 😍🫠 Tisho himself cooked every meal, and everything was delicious. So a big THANK YOU to the team, and we will definitely meet again 🌷💛

Our stay was perfect from arrival till checkout. Tony cooked amazing dinner for us, best food we ate in Bulgaria. Fresh vegetables from the garden. The rooms are super clean, the property is beautiful. You can see that everything is done with passion. 100% recommend when wanting to see the beautiful side of Bulgaria.

His availability and attention to the guests' needs makes you wanna come back over and over again to St.George Guest House. Not to mention the dishes Toni cooked for us during our stay here. The food is home made, fresh and tastes amazing, it’s spotless clean everywhere in the premises.
The location is very good is nice and quiet and at the same time is very close to the main way for the city.

Where do I even start?
I have never ever in my life had such a nice stay as in Tonys Guest House!
Tony is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met!
The whole house is very clean, everything you need is there. The view from the room was really amazing, everyday I spend a few minutes on the balcony just to enjoy the view.
The whole garden around the house is very well maintained and it’s a joy to spend time there.
Tony made breakfast everyday for me, I asked for Bulgarian food & he made something different every single day. On 4 of my 7 nights I also had dinner there and it always was absolutely amazing!!! Tony is a BRILLIANT cook!!
Apart from the house itself Tony was always really helpful, translated Bulgarian for me and sorted out multiple problems I had in Bulgaria.
Overall I wish I could give him more than a 5 star rating, he did so much more than I could expect from him and took very good care of me.
Tony, thanks again for everything you did for me and Everydaystray, I’ll never forget that!!!

A very nice and intimate place to stay. Clean rooms, one with a great terrace. The food is fantastic and Tony, the host and the chef is a great guy. Acacia trees surround the house and they smell great. The house is away from the busy road, so it is nice and quiet. A pool and trampoline are available for kids to enjoy. A great place to rest and enjoy a fine meal.

I had an amazing time staying at this guest house! Tihomir is a lovely host and a professional chef. He has personal approach to every guest, put his heart in everything he does and works very hard. The food is delicious and the place feels like home. Thank you, Tisho! You are the best🙂

We had a beautiful time at Tony's place, the food was amazing! He uses a lot of local and homemade products. All his meals are made with love. Tony is very friendly and helpful as well! He's just an amazing host. We will definitely come back. Greetings from Leonie and Vera.

We stayed at tonys for a couple of days and we felt like home. He is just the sweetest most thoughtful host you can wish for! Everything was super clean and comfy. We felt really cared for and the food was beyond great! Tony is a really experienced chef and will cook something special for everybody, vegetarian or not ;)

A great remote and peaceful place with an amazing host. Tony is a very friendly and helpful guy. He is also a great chef. He cooked for us all kind of delicious dishes with local ingredients. Even the ice cream is homemade. I would totally recommend this place.

Extremely welcoming hosts! The place is located in a calm area with adorable view to a charming green garden. But at the same time, it is quite near to several sights one might be interested to visit in Veliko Tarnovo, Sevlievo or Gabrovo.

Our room was perfectly clean and quite comfortable.

I would definitely recommend the restaurant as well - several daily meals to choose from, each one prepared with fresh ingredients from local farmers.

Excellent place to stay! Everything on the premises is impecably clean. The food is amazing: a variety of both traditional and à la carte dishes prepared by the host (a professional chef). The host speaks English very well and is very helpful, kind and communicative.There is an indoor restaurant. The yard has got plenty of space to enjoy food outside on the terrace, green grass, a swimming pool, a swing and a trampoline. It's suitable both for families travelling with children and for those who want to get some rest.The location is also close to a lot of major touristic sights. We came for five nights and prolongued our stay for eight - our entire experience there was more than perfect! As the saying goes, we came as strangers and left as friends! We are looking forward to going back again!

The best place in the area for chilling out and having a great gastronomic experience. Fresh and delicious food, good service and very cozy place. Clean rooms, prices low to moderate. Has an inside parking for guests. Host is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!!! Pool and lounge area outside. Quiet place off the main road.

Such a great place. We had a room with a huge terrace, everything is new and clean. The food: AWESOME! The host is very friendly and helpful, and speaks very good english. Kid friendly place too, as they have a small pool, trampoline and table tennis. Huge yard too. Will come back for sure

St. George House is a hidden jem in the central Balkan aria, highly recommend for those who want to escape the busy city day and to enjoy peace and quite. The chef's skills should be also noted - perfect cooking, homemade menu and seasonally selected products. Very fond of the cats around.
