Sunny Paradise Campsite

I stayed here for 3 nights and I found Ana and Ivo to be the most phenomenal hosts.
They made me feel like a family member, taking me into their home, sharing their local food, even popping to the local shop with me to translate and have a beer with the locals.
Such a beautiful couple, in a lovely quiet, safe location and with such an interesting past to them both which they are so willing to share with you. Ana also speaks multiple languages which definitely helps.
Spacious clean facilities, great location, you couldn’t ask for more! I would certainly go back and stay for longer next time!

The owners, Ivo and Ana are exceptionally friendly and helpful. In true Bulgarian style, visitors are treated like royalty. Nothing is too much trouble. The campsite is clean and the pitches well maintained. We had hard standing for our caravan and a beautiful green lawn section for table and chairs- bliss. I would highly recommend this site.

Very nice, clean and well mantained camping spot,close to the border. The hosts are very helpful and friendly, the bathrooms were spotless and the pool was very refreshing. Ana & Ivo provide you also with recommendations of restaurants and shops from the community

Good value for money. The campsite is new, not big, but enough for short stops. It has a pool and clean facilities like showers and toilets. Water and electric energy at each pit.
The acces to the campsite is easy if you follow the instructions of the owners and is very close to the border with Greece.
The owners are very nice and welcoming people.
I recommend it!

I would just like to add to all the previous positive comments about this little site. I intended staying one night but due to an issue with border insurance for Macedonia ended up staying two. Ana and her husband Ivo are both so friendly, attentive and helpful. When I encountered problems with insurance for Macedonia they went out of their way to try and help me obtain some. Something as a lady travelling alone I really appreciated. The facilities are also spotless and of a great standard and the pool is up and running.

The campsite is nice, clean and well organized. The host is very friendly and speaks good english. The small pool is relaxing and refreshing after travelling day. Don't follow the Google navigation, check navigation placed on camping website.

We spontaneously visited the campsite with our bicycles. Both owners welcomed us very friendly and we had a great stay!
They speak fluent English and help you with everything you need!
The campsite itself has a good vibe. If we visit this area again, this will be our place for the night!

Very kind and warm-hearted hosts. The place was very nice, clean and had a nice view. (Great toilet paper) unfortunately it was still under construction when we came but it's going to be even better when they finish it.

We stayed here after a long drive and stressful boarding crossing, it was a lovely retreat and the owners where very friendly. It was also a nice place to hike with our dogs and our puppy enjoyed playing with the owners dog :-)

The owners of this place are very very kind! They helped us with everything !! We had a nice stay on the campsite :) they made a bbq for us , they helped us with the nice places we wanted to visit! We had a great time !

Kleiner, wunderschön gepflegter Campingplatz mit feinem Swimmingpool - wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, unsere beiden Hunde durften sich frei bewegen. Man sieht und spürt dass die Eigentümer mit ganzem Herzen bei der Sache sind.

Danke Ana und Ivo! Ihr seid grossartig!
Wir haben uns hier nach 11½Std. Fahrt (Gespann Auto mit grossem Wohnwagen) zum Erholen niedergelassen. Da wir im Dunkeln angekommen sind, haben wir den Platz nicht gefunden, aber ein Anruf genügte, und Ana machte sich auf den Weg, uns zu suchen!
Der Campingplatz ist wunderschön, ruhig, Blumen überall, grosszügige Stellplätze, zwei super saubere, schöne Badezimmer, Pool.
Ana und Ivo sprechen viele Sprachen (ausser Deutsch;): Bulgarisch, Portugiesisch, Englisch, Spanisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Russisch, Serbisch, Mazedonisch und noch drei afrikanische Sprachen!!! Sie stehen in jeder Situation mit Rat und Tat zuhilfe. Wir haben uns rundum einfach nur wohl gefühlt. Wenn wir wieder in die Gegend kommen, ist Sunny Paradise auf jeden Fall unser Ziel!
