Alpine restaurant "Fondue"

Don't miss it....best in Town...we r loving it .3 days in bansko ..food here is awesome..

It is pricey, calm and cosy, and very delicious.

We have visited “Fondue” after full day of skiing to replenish some calories. This was middle of “British” winter holidays so Bansko was pretty crowded. Just in case we have made reservation online which was quickly confirmed via phone from “Fondue’s” staff.

“Fondue” is very nicely designed. You feel immediately that you are entering outstanding restaurant. Tables are well organized so you have some space and privacy for you.

Staff is very friendly, accessible and full of attention.

We have ordered cheese fondues (classical and lucky Bansko) and oil ones (octopus and shrimps). For desert we’ve tried Tarte Tatin and kids took chocolate fondue (milk and salty caramel) with strawberries and bananas.

Classical fondue was perfect. Distinctive in taste - you could feel matured cheese. We were a little bit disappointed with bread which was far away from baguette experience. lucky Bansko fondue was rather mild and was much better after adding some pepper into it.
Oil fondues (octopus and shrimps) were amazing. Definitely best option to choose if you are not cheese geek.

Tarte Tatin was a great disappointment. Cake was not at all French type and it was served cold. Misunderstanding of Tarte Tatin which is classsic recipe.

On the other hand chocolate fondues we’re marvellous. Both kids said that it was best one they ever tried (and they tried quite a lot before).

Bill got quite high - more then 300 Leva. However it was worth of the experience.

If you want to feel the authentic taste and atmosphere of the Swiss kitchen, this is the place.
The restaurant is very exquisite and the staff is more than professional.
The menu is simple and the food is fantastic.
Once you arrive, you don't want to leave it:)

This is our 4th or 5th visit to this restaurant in the last 3 years of visiting bansko and happy to see that they are able to maintain the high standard of food quality. Even the service is trying to do their best, and for balkan standards it is excellent. The cheese Fondue are to real Swiss recepies and with real Swiss cheese. This also means Swiss princess and small portions, so be aware! However well worth it, even if a 3 course meal would set you back about 50 euro per person on avarage.

Great food, perfect service. The fat fondue was surprise, we were expecting the meet will be faty too, but it was not. It is similar to Asian stir-fry technic, very tasty and fun to make. The classic fondue and racklette were very good too, the chocolate fondue absolutely delicious.

Wonderful place, not only for family meetings, but for all of the reasons you have! Excellent food, combined with perfect service, and for the money we spent there we got more much that everywhere we were before! Highly recommending that place! Greetings!

Visited the Fondue restaurant during a winter stay in Bansko. I am a big fan of Fondue dishes so that's definitely the place to go there. It's so nice that such places exist, kudos to the owners.

Yesterday we were there and it was unexpected to see such romantic and beautiful place in Bansko.
The food was impressive and the staff was very friendly.
We will back there for sure.

Great Swiss restaurant in Bansko. Perfect service and interior. We order classic cheese fondue and it was great. We will come back.
