Chuchura Restaurant

Food is cheap and tasty at the same time. We came for lunch, they have a lunch menu with a few dishes. The atmosphere is somewhat traditional. Service is okay. Nothing exceptional, but value for money is really high. Recommended.

We had a quick stop for a lunch from the daily menu. The daily specialties were not pre-cooked and made once ordered, which is definitely a plus. The atmosphere is traditional and the waitress was super kind. Great value for money overall. Recommended!

The place itself looks like old someone’s house with local folklore, the food also tasty as homemade, especially soups.

The location is very nice. It makes you feel like you've gone back in time. The staff was very friendly and food was tasty. I had a chicken kavarma and it was really good.

A very nice authentic Bulgarian restaurant if you are looking to experience a true Bulgarian dish. I had the Chicken Sach with vegetables. They also make Sach with pork, beef, and lamb. Environment is nice and rustic. They also have a variety of beers with Zagorka on draft.

Great place, small and looks authentic. The dishes aren't too big but they all taste pretty good. Service and staff are excellent.
Good variety for vegetarians as well!
I do suggest however to pick a different place for desserts (as of October 2019).

A small traditional restaurat, really cozy, the employees are nice and they speak English.
The food was incredible! Everybody should try their traditional Kavarma at least once! And don't forget about the pita onion bread!

The meal was good and the waitresses were prompt and nice. The food was very well cooked and very tasty. Prices even though we were in downtown Varna old town, were affordable.

Came in the middle of the afternoon. Warm welcome by the waitresses, with smile. The portions are huge, the prices are low and the cooking is on point. We really had a great time at Chuchura.

Bulgarian authentic food at its best. I am sad I only ate once there because here they mention it is closed on Sunday. Beautiful inside preserved with ethnographic and folk costumes, embroidery and designs. Also low prices compared to the meal size and taste.

The restaurant is beautiful, the service is excellent, the food is amazing. The size of the menu is huge, the price is reasonable! I love the experience, would recommend it!

Super nice food! Homemade... Cooked and prepared with attention, time and love. Wonderful friendly service. And a calm atmosphere. We will miss that place... And the grilled vegetables, the chicken skewers and the colourful salad! :-)

One of the best restaurants in Varna! Traditional food, good music, very friendly waitress. Take your time and try different dishes! My personal favourite in Varna. Kawarma with lamp is perfect there!

Very beautiful restaurant in traditional style on quaint square. Fast service. Great moussaka, shnitsel and bread! Real great!
Shopsky salad is a bit dry (not enough oil, but can easily be remedied since there is oil on the table).
NB: moussaka is too big for one person))
