Dedo Pene Inn

Only ate at the restaurant. Came here quite by accident with two small children and were pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere. Courtyard has plenty of trinkets and decorations to keep the children interested and busy. The food was actually very good. Overall, we had a good time.

Had a wonderful meal with a friend in Dedo Pene. We've been coming to Bansko since 2006. We've never been to Dedo Pene, so this was our first time. Eva looked after us very well. Food was excellent. We will be back.

Traditional food and service lots of historic value in the area and a short walk to the ski slopes.

Highly recommended. A unique place with typical Bulgarian cuisine. The interior of the restaurant is very antique. When you come in, the atmosphere gets you immediately. In the background of the restaurant is a garden, probably open in a summer days.

Great atmosphere and service! We were the only customers for dinner - family of 4 & it was my partner's Bday - but they still accommodated us and prepared everything we ordered. Food was tasty and we had their home made red wine🍷We even met Dedo Pene's successor 😃 great grandson or something... He now owns the Inn and was also having dinner there but came a bit later.
There are places outside too + rooms to stay in. The Inn is right next to the church in the center of Bansko.
We forgot a jacket and went back the next morning to pick it up. After I called them and although the Inn was still closed, they were very understanding and someone came to open for us so we can get the jacket back 😊

The place has an amazing kitchen. Everything is very delicious. The atmosphere is very interesting and nice as well. If you're going to Bansko, go to this place and order homemade potatoes with red pepper and butter, they are amazingly delicious!

Really great local food for cheap. Really interestingly decorated interior. No hassling from the owners or wait-staff, which we found happened at other local places in Bansko. Really lovely atmosphere and delicious food. 100% would go again and again and again. We nearly at here every night we were in Bansko.

The dishes we had: Kyopoolu, White cheese medenista, Kebapche, Mishmash, Dedo Pene style flat bread, House wine x 2, draught beer. Total came to 50 Lev.

A nice quiet place just off of the main square with a cool garden/courtyard that has various points of interest. Looks empty or closed from the outside but that's deceiving. Food was fresh and presented very well. Very enjoyable experience.

Excelent traditional food. My kid become fan of the tripe soup and I've particulary enjoyed macedonian iahnia. My wife likes mushroom soup and orders it every time. Dedo pene is our restaurant of choice every time we come to Bansko for skiing or when going to Greece in the summer. We've tried others in Bansko, good food everywhere but Dedo pene is one step above.
