Plovdiv Stadium

We just parked up for a few night outside here. Had no problems. The stadium itself looks quite basic, but there’s various other things nearby like a gym, tennis clubs and running tracks.

Great experience attending a Spartak Plovdiv game here. Felt like I had time travelled to the 1960s. Loved it

Beautiful walk around the Rowing Canal. Visit around sunset in in the summer for amazing sunset views. Stop for a bite at “Grebetsa Restaurant” for the best calamari in town! Just one warning: never go there without a decent mosquito repellent!

Great festival, great show!🤘 Sabaton rock hard and made amazing show! Judas Priest were great as usual. It unbelievable how Rob Halford (🤘) can sing at his age. Iron Maiden brought no surprise... Amazing as always!🤘All three bands played their best songs. Fish were also good but their music is not for everyone. Krematory are back in the game 🤘

Nice complex for plenty of sports, big playground in middle, lot of coffee shops and places for walk. Nice for day out

Рок Фест HILLS OF ROCK ' 2018

Great and beautiful place. Great for a walk or if you are into sports. They hold the Hills of Rock concerts there, which were amazing the last two years. I can recommend them for sure, but be sure to take mosquito repellent with you.

A beautiful park not too far from the city center. They have facilities for all sorts of professional sports. The rowing canal is the perfect place for a walk to bike ride. Enjoy the soccer fields and the tennis courts. In season there are a number of food stands and a couple of restaurants.

Very clean , nice staff and it has a spa and a pool too. Great hygienic standards and their gym eqiupment is new and clean, and most important it has a great space for stretch and to do jumping ropes.

Non functional, but around was the Hill Of Rock metal festival!Amazing - Sabaton,JudasPriest,Iron Maiden,Jinjer and many others, three stages, a lot of performances, even techno stage with drum and base.I was in camping zone.In the summer here was very hot.

It is a good well organized place for sport. People in order to be well healt have to go and many activities. At this complex are too many places and sports that one can do. It is known not only reginally but also from foreighners. My recomendation is to go there and enjoy some sports. There is a parking but better go by bicyle it is healty.

The most beautiful town in the world! And one of the oldest live city in the world! Visit the town, definitely worth it!

The Rowing Channel - Гребният канал

Seems like it used to be a great stadium but right now it looks like a horror movie set due to lack of maintenance.

Beautiful city.
Extremely hot in the summer.
For summer visits, go out during the night.

Nice place to run or ride a bike, even for just for a stroll with friends.

Great sports complex. Amazing to see small kids getting trained on sports. One needs whole day to enjoy all sports.
