Hotel Horlog Castle

An excellent hotel, really similar to an ancient castle, a spacious room, there is a kettle and a fridge in the room, the bathroom is excellent, The service is courteous, polite and welcoming.
There is a stream next to the hotel which adds to the atmosphere.
We went up the stairs to the first floor.
The breakfast is very basic.

The view is magical, rooms are small but nice and clean. The food in the restaurant is really good and have in mind that the dishes are enormous! The staff is a delight and I recommend!

A hidden gem! The rooms are small but well equipped. The bathroom exceeded expectations. The restaurant has good food and friendly service. The "castle" is right next to a river which makes you feel you are outdoors.

Amazing! We were surprised at the size of an Apartment type of accommodation. There was a large living room with a fire place. There was also some wood for us to use and light a fire. The place was really really authentic with all the wooden details. It was also very modern and we did not miss anything in terms of comfort. The furniture and overall cleanliness was so great. We absolutely loved our time there!

Very cute hotel just near a beautiful river stream and really close to the Devils Throat cove. The rooms are modern and clean, thought small due to the building shape/size.
The restaurant is cozy and has great food for good prices. The woman serving the breakfast was absolutely lovely.

One of the best places I've stayed in. Surrounded by mountains and nature, this place gives a surreal feeling. There are places to walk, everything is homemade thus very tasty. The room are are made in a way that you will feel like in a cabin in the nature. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Castle (literally) in the middle of mountains. Rooms are supper clean and cozy! The owners who running the hotel are really friendly, and they doing great job! Food in the restaurant was amazing and truly homemade (same as their delicious rakiq ;) )

The food is very Bulgarian, specialties from the Rodopi mountain cuisine served in a Bulgarian restaurant. Very friendly, fast and accurate service. (Restaurant visited only)

Fascinating scenary. The restaurant terrace is overlooking the river. Prices are reasonable and the menu gives you the chance to try some local specialities. There is also the option to order fresh fish.

Delightful lunch on terrace overlooking river, cliffs and gorge. Tastefully prepared local treats enthusiastically presented to our table made for an enjoyable time.

Great location very friendly and accommodating staff, also happy to organise a 4x4 off-road excursion to see local must see vantage points like the Eagles Eye etc
