Family Hotel Arkan Han

I had a delightful stay at this charming family hotel. The cleanliness of the accommodations was impeccable, and being surrounded by nature added to the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway with a personal touch.

Spent a lovely long weekend, working from the place. It's in the middle of the mountains but they got some really strong connection via Starlink. Food was great, service was kind and the trips around the hotel were fantastic!

Arkan Han in the Bulgarian mountains exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family, thanks to the warm welcome from the staff. This lovely place is located in the heart of nature, where you can enjoy quite mornings with your homemade tea or coffee! The food at the restaurant was outstanding and gives a good feel of the local dishes, not to mention super affordable for the quality! The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and equipped with everything necessary, plus an amazing mountain view. There are many options for a walk in the nature, as well as horse riding, where the instructors are very friendly! Definitely recommend for a quite retreat and some adventure if you want to visit the local caves (accessible via own vehicle) or peaks (accessible via jeeps you can hire on site).

Lovely hosts, did not had a free table and offered us to join anyway on the owners table. The food was excellent. Plenty of good quality products, from stakes to fish. Awesome hospitality and interaction with the kids that were on premise.

The best place to eat in Trigrad!

We had a dinner there and the atmosphere was amazing. The food was very delicious and the server was very helpful and kind.

We sat outside and we felt the fresh air from the mountains. It was also very quiet, peaceful and very beautiful.

Everything was excellent, the hotel is at very nice place, view from the room on the woods is very beautiful. Guy who works there is very nice and polite. Breakfast is simple, but very tasty, including fruits. Recommendations!

We have visited only the restaurant and it was amazing. The food, the service and the atmosphere. Great place! Bravo!

Excellent hotel in a very beautiful landscape. Highly recommendable!
The rooms are comfortable, the restaurant as well. The kitchen offers a broad variety of Bulgarian meals -> everything was very, very delicious. Communicating in english with the staff is possible and many valuable advises of where to go and what to see can be get.

Hotel is cozy and clean, personnel is very polite and friendly. Surroundings are beautiful, and local food from hotel kitchen is very nice. Rooms are arranged in ethno manner, and pretty basic. Tips: At the rear from the hotel, there is a cold war era bunker, integrated in the top of the hillock. Bunker served as watchower for the road toward Greek border (which is only 5km away). If you find it interesting, take 2 minutes to climb to the bunker, enter through the small metal door and feel breath of the past. Also, please taste local thick sour milk with honey and nuts! :)

the only place in the area where you can eat good food

A great place to stay if you are visiting the Rhodopes and the area of Trigrad. Combines the convenience of a small hotel with traditional hospitality. The food is outstanding and so is the desire of the staff to please their guests; at the end of your stay you are guaranteed to feel at home. Worth mentioning is that there are no TVs in the rooms; plenty of books to any taste though that I rate as a big advantage. This is the right place to escape from urban hustle and bustle and relax. Highly recommended.

Great location, beautiful nature, delicious food. They served local dishes. You must try: home made meatballs, tikalnik and bean with sausage. They offer local Rodopa tea.The bread is home made too. Clean rooms with beautiful view. A lot of eco paths. Two horse riding centers. They offer a horse riding tour, riding lessons and traveling with horse carriage. Rooms are with wood furniture, without TV screan. There is a small library in every room. This is a place suitable for relax, enjoy the nature and spend time playing outside with kids.

The scent of deliciously prepared food and just baked bread spreads around the air. The tomato, rose-coloured, is still warm from the sunbeams in the granny’s garden during the summer. In winter sweet-sour scent of home-made pickled vegetables, called Royal pickles, complements to the romantic and charming winter scene and brings back childhood memories.
It is us, who created this place in the heart of the forest, where you will be able to find food, carefully chosen with respect, and skillfully prepared with inspiration.

There are 8 well-trained and well-balanced horses at our disposal. The stable has won recognition in horse sport and tourism.
Here you have the opportunity for unforgettable experience – horse riding in nature, qualified training or just the pleasure from the contact with the horse.

This is lovely place if you need peace and quiet. There is delicious cuisine and specific organic bulgarian yogurt. There is wonderful nature

The place is beautifully located. Great food in the restaurant and very tasty home-made wine. The beds were comfy and the room itself was clean. I will gladly come back in a different season to see how the landscape changed :)

The nicest hotel in Trigrad.
5 minutes walking you can find a Horse Ranch, great guy renting 4 horses ,speaks French , we did a lovely ride in the valley , recommended for horse lovers .
