Path of Health

Nice walk. There aren't any parts that are too steep. We even made it with a stroller. There were some parts that were muddy, but despite that it was ok and we managed. You can choose routes with different lengths so it is up to you and the shape you are in. The longest is 6+ km and is very nice. The first part is in the forest and the second is near open spaces (resembling a field).

Really nice calm path in a forest. Many ways to go, so it's up to you how much you want to walk/run. Perfect for a walk with your dog or kids. Enough parking places and easy to reach this place by a car.

The path of health is very close to Sofia and a nice alternative to Vitosha if you want to do an easy hike. There are 4 possible routes that you can take and all of them circle around so there is no need to turn around. The longer routes are 5 or 6 kilometres long and for most part you will walk through a beautiful forest, the final part is in the open so if you plan to go on a hot summer day it is a good idea to take a hat and some water. There are plenty of free parking spaces right at the entrance and it is close to Bankia's center where you can grab a bite, a coffee and even go swimming in the Bathhouse.

Bankya itself is also wooowww! Like no other Bulgarian small town.

Very nice place for a walk 🚶‍♀with family. The forest is beautiful and on the top of the park there is a 🏞 dam.
The path is not difficult but it is good to walk there in dry weather, because when it 🌧rained the path was muddy. The air is fresh and good for health because most trees are 🌲 coniferous.

The place is great! The kids (9-14 years old) enjoy the walking. Then we went to the park restaurant, amazing food at good price. The park is nicer than any other one found in Sofia! Seriously, why we can't have parks like that in the capital!!! I

A nice, flat and easy circular trail, great for little kids. A bit muddy after rain, but acceptable. Longest route is about 6.5 km, a shorter one - about 5 km also available. Towards the middle there is a dam with an option for sports fishing and a place to eat.

I love this place ❤ Absolutely gorgeous...

This is one of our favourite afternoon walks with the dogs.....we usually do the longest circular route, but there are much shorter marked circuits.
Parking can get a bit crowded at weekends so we go mid-week when it is much quieter, followed by late lunch in Bankya.

It's one of the places you can easily relax. Although you brought your kids, nature makes you feel like you're young again. Most of the people going there are kind and welcoming, so don't be surprised if you see someone greeting you. The path itself is not so challenging. Plus, you have many trees which are making a lot of shades. Definitely worth visiting.

Great eko path. There were signs all around and there was enough walking grounds to have multiple people going. I was really impressed that there was a bench and a bin almost every 50-odd meters. It is really a good way to have your weekend afternoon or morning. But please remember to have mud appropriate shoes.

It's a good place for taking a walk in the nature!

Great alternative for a nice walk in the woods near Sofia. Once there find some time to check out the nearby residence and the surrounding park. Now deserted and crumbling it's still somehow beautiful and creepy at the same time.
