A must visit place in the region. Fantastic food made with fresh local products at great prices. The atmosphere is authentic and the personal attention from the owner made everything perfect. Highly recommend!

I would like to tell you about that amazing restaurant 🍽.
At sunday evening we walked in to borika restaurant.
Inside was only one table, witch very quickly we realized that its the owner and his friends.
We thought that the restaurant most be closed, But they offered us kindly to sit.
In the beginning we didn't expect for much but after we sow the award on the wall and when the owner oferd us a home made red wine.
We started to understand that we are dealing with a serious chef.
After the a few minutes the hot mushroom soup came with toasted bread and made us realized how serious the chef and his wife (witch also do the cooking) are.
After came a bowl that blew our minds a hot salad with caramelized onions,fig and cheese.
I can tell you more but just do your self a favour and give it a try.
And dont forget to ask about the cake every day the make a different one!

What a great surprise! We stayed in an accommodation near by and were to tired to drive, so we decided to eat in the only restaurant near by.
The food was the best we had throughout our 3 weeks visit in Bulgaria. Local dishes with high dining touch. The owner & chef was super friendly.

Wonderful local things made with love! Great service, personal attention! Every dish is touching the senses, providing the best top scents of the meals! You must visit! The sausages were homemade, the salads were so well complimented with fresh herbs! Crispy home garden potatoes, smokey bacon, marinated garden eggplants, amazing desserts, pulled beef with its own gravy in caramelised onion...not to mention the cosiest atmosphere!
The view outside is breathtaking and the hosts are the loveliest people in the area!

Mesmerizing kitchen, the best service you can thing of… the staff is extremely polite and caring.
The food is entirely made from local products, and the flavors are standing out so well! The hosts are all a big family which provide always the freshest homemade food, all made with love!

Top place, wonderful staff… all cooking with love. A cute little boutique restaurant in the middle of Rodhope mountains. Amazing cooking skills and always fresh food. You could feel mostly like guests there because the man at the front makes you feel at home. Super cosy and baba’s like. The girl who opened that place has won 2nd place at the National Culinary Cup in Bulgaria in 2022.
