Het slechts 1 kunstwerk, maar de geschiedenis erachter is wel interessant.

Langs de mtb route dit onheilspellende kunstwerk tegengekomen. Tot 1795 stond hier een executiewerktuig, een galling genaamd. De kraaien voorspellen weinig goeds.
Het stond langs de drukke weg tussen Maastricht en Limbourg (B). Bokkenrijders en ander ‘gespuis’, maar misschien ook onschuldigen vonden hier hun lugubere einde. Dit kunstwerk is gemaakt door Loe Wouters. Het kunstwerk ligt tussen Banholt en Bruisterbosch.

It was a site where people were hanged as part of executions. The monument has crows that probably were feeding themselves with the victims flesh.
