We had amazing 2 Michelin star restaurant experience, starting from the place itself, continuing with food and presentation and finishing with the service. Everything was on the highest level. Presentation of food is amazing, all the process is super organized, we had a chance to see the kitchen and taste something special over there. Just keep in mind that all the lunch will take you about 4h but it is worth it. The desert for a special events is served in a very surprising way as well:)

Phenomenal experience on every level, and most especially food. It’s worth a detour Andre Michelin stars, and I imagine that staying over night would make it even more special. The dishes, many of which come in threes, are a sublime mix of balanced flavours, textures and colours. The beauty of presentation is also worth mentioning. The service was lovely, although the inconvenience of not alerting of lamb dislike in advance was evidently shown by one of the waitresses, despite the fact that you pay for that inconvenience anyway. The wine list is extensive, the pairing of wine or non-alcoholic drinks also available. The desert really blew me away, was extra special. The setting of the restaurant is in beautiful buildings set in a farm what feels like a middle of nowhere. Go if you can, you won’t regret it!

An incredible restaurant. We wanted to go for years, and we took the opportunity of a trip to Belgium to do so.
The dining room is beautiful and the wide view on the garden through the large windows is wonderful.
The dishes are (obviously) excellent. We particularly appreciated the proposition to drink herbs infusions with the dishes rather than wines, this was a great discovery.

My husband and I had an exquisite lunch. Everything was perfect. The food was very good. The service was well coordinated and professional. We had a chance to engage with the sommelier, Stephane, who proposed some great matches for our food. The staff was knowledgeable and pleaseant . The setting is lovely. A very special few hours. Highly recommended.

Discovered this restaurant a few years ago and still enjoy it with friends and family. I would recommend to stay over night if you have chosen the wine to accompany your meal ☺
The management of the staff seems good and consistent you get to see the same People over the years and the chef is very creative. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much. High quality ingredients used overall.
Happy to have this gem in Belgium !

We went for a Sunday lunch to L'Air du Temps.

First of all the setting itself is spectacular and as soon as you arrive they set the tone with their hospitality. From the pristine dining room to the delightful wine list, every little detail is taken care of and you are constantly met with professionalism and passion and we haven't even started talking about the food.

The long and the short of it is that L'Air du Temps will most likely meet or exceed your expectations. It's truly one of the few places I feel comfortable to say is "as good as advertised" it should honestly have 3 stars

Brilliant new venue for this restaurant that is now where it belongs to be: in the middle of the Belgian fields. Chef Sang Hoon demonstrates a unique virtue in his treatment of vegetables, respecting their core flavors and combining them with new culinary partners. The meats could be improved, with some odd combinations. The wine list could also be expanded, as it lacks a bit more diversity. Very attentive staff, even in the face of challenging customers, as I witnessed with my fellow diners during my meal at this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended.

An amazing place, it deserves the fame of one of the best places in Belgium. Every plate was over the top and the staff incredibly friendly. There are other restaurants which try to make the same food and ambience but you feel cheated when the bill comes, here I still believe I haven't pay enough.

Gault Millau gives 19/20, and the food, ambiance and staff is really amazing. It was nice to see that the staff was professional ut still made jokes, and the chef was also serving one special course. Really a big recommendation

This is an extraordinary place for people interested in food and drinks experiences. I can hardly call it a restaurant... I think it's more like a taste lab with an overwhelming amount of different tastes, smells, textures, ...
Even the meaning of 'water' changes after a visit of this place...
Outstanding place for people ready to pay for an exquisite taste lab.
Super friendly staff, awesome view, Zen place in general.

Very friendly staff and amazing food! It was a little hard to find even with GPS but that was because it's in a nice and quiet little farm. We loved every dish. Noteworthy that they fit us in even though it was a very last minute reservation. Thank you!

One of the top culinary experience in Belgium. I visited first l'Air du temps at their former location 9 years ago. At this time the chef was one of the key developer of molecular cooking. I already appreciated the menu as molecular technics were only there to help the taste and emotions. Now this has change and the technics is much less visible. The new location is great renovated farm, surrounded by a very big garden cultivated properly to get all the chef need.
The Suprématie Végétal menu is really great, : offering a vegetal taste and research giving a lot of emotions. The bouchées and other "amuse bouche" are really great with different tastes : vegetables from the garden, some raw, some nicely cooked with some great combination with different influences (asian, korean, brittany, sea side).
The dishes are very well balanced - starting from a special rice (Koshi i Cari), caviar and oyster mayonnaise, then with a vegetable rose with a great butter sauce, then a cauliflower and anchovy. Then came the magnificent Langoustine and baby carrots and the amazing Lamb with asparagus in two services. Morels in between were a lot on the gluttony side, yummy. Finally the dessert was a nice surprise I will not disclose as you may have it if you come for a special occasion.

The service was really great as well. Kind attention and adapted to our guests (kids) very well.

The location and building is as well really beautiful, with a fully window restaurant letting you see the country side and the garden. A zen and peaceful atmosphere lives there.

L'air du temps is really now the accomplishment of a long development and for me they are not far from perfection.

Looking forward to go back there and to see what will be the future of this inspirational place.

The best restaurant I ever had although I had my bunch of starred restaurants. This one is simply above the others. Awesome food and great wine peering. The place is zen, the hotel and breakfast are unique. Even the gin is homr made. On top of it, the chef, Sang Hoon Degeimbre seems very friendly. Serious budget but really worth it

Blown away! What a fine dining experience. Verry subtle and fine dishes and starters, the dessert was just magnificent (sculpted in front of us in the separate tasting room). Manny thanks to the very, very professional staff!

A fantastic gastronomic journey. Chef Degeimbre created a unique place that provides a unique dining experience from start to finish. The beautiful restaurant (and hotel, in which we didn't stay) is in the middle of the verdant fields of Brabant Wallon, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The moment we are warmly received and seated down in the "amuse-bouche" area you realize you're in for something very special. We came on a Friday, and had the "Suprématie Végétale" menu. It was a fantastic journey from beginning to end. The team was kind, warm and efficient throughout the evening. We chose the non-alcoholic pairing, which consists of water infusions that miraculously match the dishes, and we strongly recommend it as a special alternative to wine pairing. A big thank you to the chef and the team for this amazing experience.

L’air du Temps is a two Michelin-starred restaurant with dishes prepared by chef Sang-Hoon Degeimbre and his team. He describes himself as “a Korean born, a Belgian man and a citizen of the world”; I believe this description extends into his culinary creations. You can see the Korean influence as well as the Belgian one throughout his cuisine.

Situated in an area far from the hustle and bustle of the city, in a peaceful area with gardens, L’air du Temps truthfully makes you feel as if you have stepped into a different world. It was a nice touch to present a card with our choice of set menu highlighted on the page before the food arrived. Garnished with colorful pristine flowers, the dishes are inviting. I love the element of surprise when you have ordered a set menu; it makes a person long to see what will come next. This was the case here, I would be eager to see how art and food come together in the plate to follow. In some instances, things would even seemingly appear to be something that they aren’t because they would be presented in a different texture or form than we are used to seeing.

To describe the service, one can only say that it was truly impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable and alert; explaining the constituents of our meal as well as that of the wines or waters being paired with them. Yes, I did say waters in the plural form. Something I really enjoyed and found interesting was that you could choose to pair different naturally flavored waters with what you were eating; they came in various colors that also brightened the table. As it turns out, the minimalism of the decor had been misleading; it had just been the platform from which these intriguing complex inventions could be showcased.

Amazed by the original experience (if you are lucky, you might be invited to eat one of the courses in the Chef's kitchen) and the delicious food. The Chef San Degeimbre and his team clearly know how to please and surprise their guests in this beautifully refurbished old house.

Remarkable experience. Surprising combinations of taste, color and textures. Haute cuisine where East meets West with an excellence only Chef Sang Hoon Degeimbre has the secret.
