Les Templiers de Charleroi

A very nice bar with a variety of draft beers, as well as bottled beers. The food is hearty and simple, but excellent. There are a variety of typical Belgian dishes to choose from. I had the patties in geuse (a sour beer) sauce and they turned out to be huge and absolutely delicious. My mother had the endives with a cheese bechamel sauce, which were outstanding as well. The atmosphere is cool as well, it almost feels like an Irish pub. We can only recommend this place!

Very interesting old fashioned pub with Knights Templar decor and mural in Charleroi. Extensive food and drink menu. Was busy when visited which is usually a good sign.

Nice place to eat and drink beers in Charleroi

Local Belgium pub with excellent reasonably priced cuisine frequented by locals and the lucky visitors like me who find it. From plaques on entrance has recieved Routard award every year since time in memorial. Well worth seeking it out.

The best experience I had in both Brussels and Charleroi. Amazing place with local beers and reasonable prices, while the staff was pleasant and polite. I definitely recommend this place!

Ter gelegenheid van de wereldtentoonstelling heeft brouwerij Diekirch in het hart van de bovenstad van Charlerloi , tegenover het stadhuis , een monument opgericht dat al meer dan 50 jaar trouw is gebleven aan zichzelf.

Met zijn origineel houtwerk , zijn antieke kroonluchters , zijn rustieke tafels en stoelen , zijn oude toeristische posters is het Relais Les Templiers een authentieke taverne in middeleeuwse stijl.

Het etablisement kreeg het label
" Terroir Bistrot " . Dit label werd in 2010 opgericht door de huidige minister van toerisme en heeft als doel het imago van de horecasector te herstellen en brouwerijen te betrekken bij de toeristische en sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van Wallonië.

Er worden huisgemaakte specialiteiten en dagschotels voorgesteld.
Zo zijn er konijn in ( blauw ) Chimay bier , Franse slachtafvallen zoals andouillettes en pens of zelfs seizoensmosselen te verkrijgen.

Bon resto local sur Charleroi, le cadre est authentique, pas d’attrapes touristes et le repas (des Boulettes) était ma foi bon !

Viande de très bonne qualité, cuisson "bleue" parfaite, j'étais moi même un professionnel de la cuisine. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. J'y reviendrai très vite.

Taverne chaleureuse, à l'ancienne. Que ça fait du bien de voir qu'il existe encore de tels établissements. Large choix de bières, ambiance terroir, plats de grands mères délicieux à des prix hyper démocratiques. Coup de cœur ! Vive notre terroir !

Je n'y ai que de bons souvenirs de cuisine et d'amitiés qui s'en vont et y reviennent toujours. Chouette Ambiance et Qualité semblable à celle de la Quille Ville-Basse de Jadis.

Chaleroi, paese a 10 minuti dall'aeroporto Bruxelles Chaleroi - osteria tipica con ottimo cibo e birre locali.
Ti accoglie Aurelian, oste di altri tempi, impossibile resistere alle sue Boulettes alla birra ( polpette di carne tipiche).
Ottimo persino il caffè espresso....
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo...
L'unico vero motivo per fermarsi a Chaleroi...
