Gecko - Thai Kitchen & Take Away

I would like to thank Gecko for their kindness and brilliant food.

My partner and I did not have a lot of time but still wanted to get some food into our bellies before our appointment, so we called Gecko 10 minutes before our arrival. We thought that it was a place in which you could also eat inside (it is in fact only a take-away) so we explained that we did not have a lot of time and that we called earlier so that they could already prepare our food before we arrived to eat there. The lady explained that, actually, they're just a take-away, so we thought "okay, no problem, we'll just eat in our car instead". However, when we arrived, she had set up a table with chairs just for us, she gave us plates and cutlery, and the food was ready to eat. They really go out of their ways for their customers.

The food was delicious too! We will definitely come back when we're in the neighbourhood (but don't worry, it will be for take-away next time).

P.S. I wanted to explain this story to show how friendly they are to their customers, but keep in mind that they are not a dining restaurant. In other words, please don't expect them to pull out tables, they were just being extremely kind.

We stopped by for take-out on our car drive south. We really appreciated that they were open on a holiday. Their communication on Facebook was very good. Their customer service at the restaurant was outstanding. The lovely woman who served us was friendly, gracious and generous towards our children. They prepared the five dishes we ordered in under 15 minutes. It was the best Pad Thai, Green Curry and Chicken Satay we've eaten in Belgium! Our 9-year old son loves their satay so much that we get him two orders! We've also eaten at their location in Namur and the service and food are just as great! Highly recommended!

Toujours très bon (on paie le prix pour...), le site internet a été revu, de manière à faciliter le passage des commandes. La jeune demoiselle au comptoir est très serviable, bref, je n'ai jamais été déçu !

La qualité et la fraîcheur des produits est juste hallucinante !

C'est déjà notre deuxième visites au gecko thai de grez doiceau et nous sommes pleinement satisfaits. Les plats sont généreux et vraiment savoureux. Le concept est également très sympathique... vous choisissez votre préparation et ensuite si la voulez veggie, poulet, scampis etc... le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et avenant. Pour l'instant uniquement en take away n'hésitez pas les jours où vous ne voulez pas cuisiner 😋

Il faut appeler un chat un chat …. C’est tres BON.
Et c’est très pratique ! Ouvert même le dimanche. Carte facile à comprendre.

une bonne adresse de take away dans le coins avec une jolie carte. les plats sont de bonne qualité. je commande régulièrement.

Si je pouvais mettre une 6e étoile, je le ferais volontiers. Les plats sont DÉ-LI-CIEUX! Cela nous remémore ces excellents souvenirs culinaires lors de nos voyages en Thaïlande. Depuis leur rénovation, le lieu est sympathique. Le personnel est très agréable. La commande peut se faire par téléphone ou via leur site web. C'est rapidement servi! Bref, un lieu où il fait bon se restaurer. Allez-y les yeux fermés :-)

Excellent restaurant Thaïlandais de type take away, avec une nourriture de très grande qualité pour un prix correct. Il est très facile de passer commande par téléphone ou directement via le site web et on peut planifier une commande pour un jour futur ! Le service est rapide, agréable et efficace. Attention que le restaurant n'est pas facilement vu, puisque renfoncé par rapport à la chaussée. J'y suis déjà allé plusieurs fois et y retournerai sans hésitation !

Absolument délicieux ! Première commande en take away (Covid) et quelle bonne surprise ! De très belles portions ( j’ai à manger pour demain midi en plus de ce soir ) un super rapport qualité prix et c’était absolument délicieux. On recommandera certainement

Le meilleur Thaï du coin certainement ! Qualité des produits et rapidité de préparation. Le serveur actuel est un atout !
