It's such an amazing place! You can completely immerse yourself in the artist's work. You will walk away with a strong sense of his creative process and development over the entire span of his career. All the informational plaques are in French and Flemish Dutch, so if you don't read one of these languages, you may not get as much information, but you will still enjoy the art.

An excellent museum with a very pleasant bistro attached, indoor and outdoor seating, worth visiting just for the place-mats which are based on Delvaux's paintings. The museum gives an excellent overview of his work, especially the little-known early industrial scenes, mostly of shunting locomotives. Then some 1930s social satires, followed by the better-known surrealist tableaux.Admission was 8 euros for seniors. The bistro is expensive (14 euros for a ham and pineapple toast). The shop is well stocked.

Located in the lovely coastline of Belgium, this small museum let's you glimpse into the world of one of the famous painters of Belgium. I've spent about 1.5 hours with my 10-year-old son there and I can recommend this museum if you're in the neighborhood. There's a nice little cafeteria, and a not-so-big parking area if you go by car.

Very nice small museum with the work of Paul Delvaux and some other artists. The paintings are mainly surrealist. Beautiful mastery of landscape and hunting figurative style. Definitely worth your time. It takes 1 hour to see everything. Parking is free. Before leaving, stop at the museum cafe for a tart Tatin

Wonderful museum, especially the private collection for the 125th anniversary. Really wish they had English translations on the descriptions of this masters’ work.

Small, hidden gem at the Belgian seaside. Changing exhibitions on Delvaux paintings, peaceful coffee place / small restaurant with friendly service off the main tourist locations.

Fascinating artist whose paintings (mainly) run from realist to surrealist, via impressionist. Long career spanning over 70 years. Most of his works are stunning and the gallery extends out into an underground space complete with a facsimile of a set of greco-roman murals he did in the 50's for the Perier family in Bruxelles. Accessible via ramp for disabled. No stairs. Cafe next door does good food. Car parking though not huge space. Give yourself plenty of time to take it all in, shop and eat to have a day out.

I first discovered this museum in a " Kustpass " ( coastal transportation pass/ticket" from the local tram company "De Liyn "...you get a reduction with this pass.
What a joy !
This artist has a beautiful museum in his former Villa.
What a wonderful transformation to turn his residence into a wonderland of optic, high quality paintings and artistic objects.
If you like his art is your decision.
Believe me, his works will stand the test of time.
I do also recommend a drink or meal in the restaurant. The couple who run it are hard working individuals, maybe with there own art but they serve this art temple very well. A great experience of Belgium.
On my day the lady on the ticket counter was enchanting.

Beautifull place, nicely decorated and neat. The people are very friendly and they give the place a very homelike feeling. There is also a small restaurant next to the museum.
