Rangpur Zoo

Nice place. There are lots of animals and trees. You can see here monkey, horse, lion, emu, rabbit, birds, donkey, peacock and more animals. Kids found of this place too much. In there, a park also included. There some rides for kids. Overall nice place to spend time with family. My kid love this place.

Country's second largest Rangpur Zoo is located in Rangpur city. The zoo covers an area of 21.51 acres (8.70 hectares). It has green trees and grasses. The zoo is located on the east side of Hanuman-tala road next to Rangpur police line road. It is not far from the district administration office.The atmosphere of the zoo is excellent. There is Shishu park inside too zoo. There are a lion and lioness, a python, some monkeys, some birds, a peacock and a peahen, 3 water elephants, deer, some donkeys, some horses, 4 crocodiles etc. There is a mosque and a breastfeeding centre inside the park. At the weekend you can visit here with your family. I visited the zoo seems I was child. I visited the zoo in several time. There are lots of animals and trees. One of heart touching place for us cause our childhood was bound to this area. Once in Rangpur this was the only place where we can see around new things.. Now a days there are more extended area in rangpur zoo. And very more well decorated then ever..last time i visited it was a amazing experience. It was a call back of childhood.

A great place for kids entertainment. There are different kinds of animals like tiger, lion, hippopotamus, monkey, tiya, myna, crocodile, snake, peacock, buck etc. Zoo entry fee is 20 taka. There is a park for children inside the zoo. People visit the zoo from different places. Sometimes the zoo is used as a picnic spot. I have been to the zoo many times. I like very much.

A wonderful place to see various wild animals. It was more enriched and beautiful before the COVID 19 pandemic.

A place that i love since my childhood 😊

The zoo is one of the oldest & biggest zoo in Rangpur area. I visited the zoo seems I was child. I visited the zoo in several time. This is a park also. The place is educated place for all age people. But the confinement animal is not well healthy. The animals are unhappy. They need a freedom life.

One of the best place to spent your afternoon in Rangpur. Recently, I think the zoo authority doesn't take good care of the animals, most of them are in bad physique. Some of the animals have died.
But the gardens are cleaner than it used to be.

It's a nice place to visit with your family.
Entry ticket is just 10 tk / person. Parking fee tk 50.
There is a children amusement park inside. Additional tickets required to enter there.

Small place to spend some quality time with kids. Their are not very vast collection of animals here but for some time spend this place is good enough. Their is a lake also with this place along with a very small kids zone. Loved this place.

Rangpur Zoo is one of the places to visit in Rangpur. One of the best places to visit with friends and family members. The atmosphere inside is very good. Collection of different types of animals and plants. A place to enjoy pleasant environment and pure air.

Rangpur Zoo placed in the center position of the Rangpur city.
A big area with wide walking road, various animals, birds. Also various fruits tree like mango, guava etc.
Recently the zoo is gona add a giraffe in there collection.
There is a Sisu Park with various rides in side the zoo.

The Rangpur Zoo has been developed than before. Specially the children park is being improved day by day.

Ranpur zoo is not much big as my expect but it has much collection of animals. this zoo have separate three Gardens you can go through the very natural beauty of nature. Animals looks a healthy and well feeded but attractive animals are most time in sleepy.

Nice place. Large number of animals are there. The biggest part is that they have lagre space where they are free to move.
It is also cost effective.this place is also very effective.Its near the Rangpur town.
Ticket price is only 10 TK.

It's a good place for spending time with family and especially with kids. There are not too many animals but whatever they have those seems enough. There are lot of trees & a big pond inside. Kids will certainly like this place. It may take 1.5 to 2 hours to visit all the cages. There is a breast feeding room inside.
