A garden and walking way Infront of it made the place a local gathering of Jessore city. The beautiful building catches your sight from the far distance. It is also a brand image of Jessore. On 4th April 18th, Mr. Tillman Henkel proposed the establishment of Jessore Collectorate. With the Revenue Headquarters in Kolkata, Mr. Tillman Henkel wrote to the Government that as a Judge and Magistrate, he was having difficulty collecting revenue.

The Collectorate Office of Jashore District. It was built many years ago. It is one of a famous buildings in the district. One can get many government services and district based services from here. Many people visit this place for their work done by the officials. It has 3 stored building. In night lots of lights enhance the beauty of the building. I have never visit this place and I want to go there.

one of the oldest British buildings on the Bangladesh.collectorate is a colonial style building,which was built in 1885.

This is the collectorate office of the first district Jessore of undivided Bengal. At the initial time it was the longest building in Bengal of the British India. Still today this building is one of the historical places of Bangladesh. This building stands at the center of the town. The natural scenerio and its administrative necessity is absolutely important till today.
