I enjoyed my stay a lot with Jafars family. The house is beautiful with a backyard garden. Young villagers were veey friendly and curious everyday. Highly recommended for experiencing rural life.

Our guide, Jafar, has a strong philosophy about what he wants to accomplish with connecting travelers with locals in his village. He is kind, well-spoken, knowledgeable, calm, and flexible. When we wanted to stop and see something, we did - even if it was not in the ‘program’ description. Jafar answered our endless questions and also had never- ending energy. The village community is so kind, welcoming and interested in helping travelers discover/explore rural Bangladesh. We learned/saw all the steps in farming rice and watched the milking of a cow and brought the warm, fresh milk back home to be enjoyed at lunch. We visited the morning school, primary school, and secondary school. All the teachers were so willing to let us interrupt their class and chat with the students. We met the Head Master of the secondary school and he talked about his goals for his school and showed us the rooftop garden. We helped with carrying sheafs of rice to stack - what a joy to share our time and learn from others. We visited the local night market and tasted milk tea, black tea, coconut pancake, and more. Jafar helped us feel like part of the ‘village’ family. We are world travelers and have tried a few homestays…this is such an authentic homestay experience. We had so many unique experiences in our days together. Try it, you will love it!

I cannot but love this place. This is just awesome. You will find nature in your hand when you come to this resort. This place cannot be explained by words, you need to feel it.
