The total area of Singra Shalban is 355 hectares. The Shalban is a forest spread in four mauzas. The four Mauzas are Dala Village, Chaulia, Singhra and Nortdangi of Bhognagar Union No. 8. According to the Mouzas of 1974, 1985 and 2004, the forest was declared as a reserved forest. Before this, it is known to have been (Vested Forest) since 1956. In October 2010, the area of 305.69 hectares of the forest has been declared as a "reserved area" National Park.
