This museum was established in 1969. It is serving as an important museum for the Mymensingh region.

There are many antiques of Mymensingh district including local architecture, sculptures, ironware, handicrafts, inscriptions and various commercial items. Most of the items in this museum have been collected from various zamindar houses in Mymensingh region.

Thos is actually a archeological museum. Nice place to visit, Ask the curator about the history. He will let you throughout everything. Small place, but I think its worth the time. It will be expanded very soon.
