I like this Drake's! The staff at the Deli are nice and really helpful.
Crazy time over Christmas and Easter so expect a wait but with the amount of staff, you get served relatively quickly!!

A fantastic bright new Store, a huge range of items and products, cheaper prices than Coles and Woolworths with friendly, caring service! Wish the same Store was up North in Port Augusta, otherwise known as Port Augutta unfortunately for good reason. Cheers.

A great supermarket, value for money and a fantastic deli section, fruit and veg are always fresh as is the bakery dept.

Great range of groceries and specialty items. Excellent deli.

I Love shopping here especially when I can fill up 2 or 3 trolleys and buy lots of amazing products. The Meat is excellent here too, My mum used to bring me here as a little baby and I still remember eating Ravioli every night.

Staff here are always friendly and ready to help. I love the meat selections here! It's also reasonably priced.

Excellent range of special-diet and other specialty foods as well as usual supermarket fare. I find their fruit and veg very good also. They have a larger deli counter as well as large cheese fridges and a frozen gluten free section with a variety of gf baked goods.

Great variety of local and imported goods. Great little fresh pasta bar in the deli. Great selection of smallgoods and fresh meat/fish in the deli. Good prices also. Always have staff at the checkouts and they are genuinely friendly people. I think you can tell by the way the staff act they have a great work culture.

Great grocery store with excellent customer service.
There is always a wide selection of products here (especially local SA food). The produce is always fresh and in my opinion far superior to their competitors.
The customer service is outstanding and everyone working here is more than willing to help you.
The convenience of the location and plenty of parking are two other positives about this Drakes.

Drakes in Newton is a great little store open every day at quite late everyday they have a great selection of foods and Italian delicacies there is a toilet at the rear of the complex and ample parking wheelchair access it should be no problem and there's always friendly staff to help you find anything that you need

Been getting lots of my groceries delivered from here. Good selection. Good service. Able to assist with most of my grocery items. Fruit and veg usually very good, fresh. Love their instore orange juice. And the instore popcorn. Best chocolate croissants. Oh oh. Marshmallow holiday treats in bakery section. Love those. Bunnies for easter, tress for Christmas. Etc. The make your own salad is a great idea. Although not all staff members in the deli understand the process. They should have an induction on that item. Some staff will fill it generously. Others will fill it only half as much.
Love the fresh bakery section.
They sometimes have venison. Which is a real delight for me.
Very good selection of organ meats. Most of the time.
Usually able to find all your groceries here.

Foodland is my favourite store. However this Drakes Newton is a big version of Drakes store on the lines of Walmart usa who too have some big stores. Lottt of discounted items.

Custumer service is outstanding.They will help you locate a product. The deli is plenty full.Some prices are more expensive.Also bargains to be had on each day.
Beware of car parking inspectors.They also put tickets on cars.This is a new thing.Follow time limit.
They have a wonderful Target store next to drake.Also two coffee shops for snacks and refreshments.Enjoy the day out.

I love the bespoke environment of these small chain supermarkets. I adore the local produce and I feel this is mirroring what I want. Good local South Australian produce. The imported items are generally beautiful and artisanal too.

I love this store. The big chains are cold, impersonal and greedy.

Staff are friendly and always have a smile.
If the item is not on the shelf, they wiil source it for you.
I'm not a shoppet, but here is a breeze.
Recommendation - go and see for yourself, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

They have a good selection of Vegan food and Gluten free. Very friendly staff. ☺
