Very happy with the course, great instruction & guidance from an experienced instructor. Hands on from day one. A plus is they have all the equipment available and suitable for students. Highly recommend Paratech for new pilots.

Purchased a gift voucher for my son's (15) birthday, just as something different. Jason was amazing from the word go. Very easy to book in the day and great communication regarding the weather conditions and timings. It was an amazing location. Jason was very down to earth, but great with explaining every step of the process. Talked to my son about what the process was, what to expect, and how enjoyable it would be. Really put him at ease.

It was amazing watching how easy it was for take off, how peaceful it was watching them gliding over the Canungra valley below, and how smooth the landing was at the end. My son couldn't get the smile off his face. He has been telling all his friends and showing them the pictures. Couldn't be happier with every aspect of the experience.

Massive thank you to Jason and the team.

Highly recommend Paratech Paragliding to anyone.

Anyone looking to try paragliding do the 9 day course with Jason. I recently completed it and it was awesome. Jason is by far the best instructor around, he is thorough and direct and you have his calming voice in the radio telling you what to do and before you know it you are going off Tamborine Mountain. Jason has also introduced me to the community to continue flying to progress in this sport.

I did my course with Jason nearly two years ago and felt the need to leave a review. If you are trying to decide who to learn to fly with, choose Paratech. I could not recommend Jason and his team enough. The method of teaching is fantastic. The real reason I would recommend so highly is the long term. Even so far down the track, Jason is always happy to help his students regardless of how long ago they finished. The resources he gives is far beyond anything I would ever expect from a business, especially that far after training.
Right from the first inflation, to a return after a brief gap in flying, my whole experience with Paratech has been amazing.
Just give him a call and have a chat, you’ll see what I mean.

I had a very positive experience learning with Paratech. Jason went the extra mile to help his students complete all the tasks required for certification. If you're coming from interstate, heed his advice. Take off 2 weeks to dedicate yourselft to the training and allow for some weather downtime. Here's some reasons why you should choose Paratech to learn:
1. Paragliding is a risky sport (at times). Jason won't risk your safety if the conditions aren't right. Despite the frustration, it's a good lesson to learn early - don't fly in marginal conditions
2. There were always 2, sometimes 3, instructors for each session. Importantly, when you begin those first high flights there will be an instructor on launch and one right there at the landing field to guide you in. This is not common to all schools.
3. The equipment I used was in excellent condition, the wing almost brand new. There wasn't any question that Paratech wouldn't have the right size wing for the student. Again, a limitation with some schools.
4. Paratech's "secret sauce" - access to a variety of training hills suited to a range of wind directions. If the weather is OK there'll be an option to fly. There's no substitute to being able to practice a series of launches, short flights and landings in a morning session to imprint those new motor skills you're trying to acquire.
5. After each session there's a good chance Jason will have posted footage of you and your classmates from that day's flying. Its a great way to recap what went well, and what didn't.
6. As others have commented - you'll be supported long after your training completes. At the end of my course, on the final flight from Tamborine, we were joined by several students who had graduated in the previous 12 months.

If you're keen on finding a top-notch paragliding school, look no further! Jason went above and beyond to make my solo flight experience unforgettable. He ran the whole show just for me when my partner backed out, and we had some epic adventures up in the sky. Jason's laid-back vibe and sense of humor made every flight a blast, with no ego in sight. It was like flying with a buddy who just happened to be an awesome instructor! We had some massive days up there, Jason stayed back as long as I wanted to keep soaring and even when I had finished the course early he continued to take the time to revisit other things and had so much to teach as long as I was happy to listen. Honestly can not say enough good things about my experience and am counting down the days until I can come back! Thanks again for everything Jason and thanks to Sarah and Rob for assisting and for all the helpful advice!

Avoid and train somewhere else, intructor full of himself that he's the best.....
Pay around $300 a day for training and he wastes your time......
